On the large bed, Cain held Roxy, who wore a white slip nightgown. He breathed in the familiar earthy scent of her blue hair. At her question, he blushed and let out a deep sigh, his gaze growing distant.

Roxy pressed her lips together and turned to look at him, unable to hide the shock in her eyes.

"The Demon Continent? That far away?"

Roxy knew it was called the most dangerous continent. Her people came from there, so she knew better than most that if you couldn't find a town and had to spend the night in the wilderness, you were unlikely to survive.

"Yeah. Things were complicated then. Luckily, we met Rujierd. He led us off the Demon Continent without anything too serious happening..."

Cain drew Roxy a little closer as he spoke.

"We must thank him properly..."
