The three of them exchanged smiles.
"Are you really okay with Eris living with me?"
"Of course I am!"
Eris's voice suddenly softened. Her gaze wandered, and her cheeks flushed.
"As long as I can stay by Cain's side..."
"Of course you can. Didn't we settle that ages ago? Besides, you're my student too, Eris."
Eris's eyes reddened as she watched Roxy smile and stroke her red hair. She pressed her lips together and nodded.
"Thank you... Roxy."
"It's all right. But if that idiot ever bullies you, be sure to tell me."

Cain looked helplessly at Roxy's scrutinizing gaze. As the one chiefly responsible for adding a new member to their family, he felt he had little say in the matter.
