Background / History

Ye Lulu is a member of the Angel Clan and a relative of Ye Yun. She and Qian Mo had known each other since childhood, when she was among the older Angel Clan girls who fussed over him. Even after he became an adult, the two remained particularly close. 15

Before becoming hall master, Ye Lulu served as captain of a Fallen Enforcement Squad. Her family commanded the regional Fallen Enforcement forces, and Golden Ear City lay within their territory. She was accustomed to combat and hunting evildoers rather than administrative work. 22 28

At age twenty-five, Ye Lulu had still not reached Soul Saint despite her exceptional talent. After Qian Mo explained that killing evil could provide cultivation feedback, she executed a group of human traffickers and confirmed that her cultivation had increased. She immediately reported the discovery to her clan and helped pursue evidence against Earl Jack and Bishop Raine. 17

Three days after the Golden Ear City incident, Ye Lulu became hall master of the local Spirit Sub-Hall. She proved unsuited to its paperwork, leaving Qian Mo to train a subordinate and manage much of the office work while she provided pastries and tea. 22
