Early connection to Qian Renxue

Jiang Mo and Qian Jun belong to the same generation as Qian Xunji and watched Qian Renxue grow up. They know her as an obedient, intelligent child, making her eagerness to approach a fifty-thousand-year soul beast particularly unsettling 7.

Qian Daoliu chooses the two Rank 95 brothers for her first soul-beast hunt because Spirit Hall’s recent attack on the Clear Sky Sect makes ordinary Titled Douluo escorts insufficient reassurance 6.

First soul-beast hunt

At the Star Great Forest, Jiang Mo shields Qian Renxue from a Holy Light Unicorn. Although he detects no hostility, he initially refuses to let her approach and physically restrains her when she tries to leave his protection 7.

The unicorn’s sacrifice is followed by sacrifices from a Blazing Light Golden Flame Eagle and a Grand Radiant Golden Lotus. Jiang Mo and Qian Jun are immobilized by the sacrificial power and struggle to explain how beasts below one hundred thousand years can perform such acts. Jiang Mo questions Qian Renxue about possible involvement by the Angel God 9.

After Qian Renxue reaches Level 35, Jiang Mo begins addressing her as “Young Mistress,” convinced that she will become a god. When she senses hidden observers, the brothers launch a combined staff attack that exposes the Sky Azure Bull Python, Titan Giant Ape, and Xiao Wu 10.

Jiang Mo prevents Qian Jun from pursuing them because fighting the two powerful beasts would endanger Qian Renxue. He instead proposes returning with Spirit Hall reinforcements, then accompanies her back to report the expedition to Qian Daoliu 11.

Protection within Spirit Hall

Jiang Mo accompanies Qian Daoliu and Qian Jun to the Papal Hall when Qian Renxue visits Bibi Dong. The three reveal themselves before Bibi Dong’s anger can escalate into an attack 13.

During a later confrontation, Qian Daoliu stations the brothers outside the Worship Hall and orders them to take Qian Renxue back to her chambers when Bibi Dong arrives 19. Despite witnessing Qian Renxue’s exceptional talent, Jiang Mo shares their doubts that she can defeat Bibi Dong within her proposed ten-year deadline 22.

Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well

Jiang Mo escorts Qian Renxue to Sunset Forest in search of her divinely guided opportunity. He and Qian Jun reveal their Rank 95 strength and Worship Hall affiliation to Dugu Bo, securing entry into his valley without a fight 26 27.

The brothers privately decide that Spirit Hall should seize the valley’s rare herbs and spring. When Qian Renxue identifies the entire valley as her opportunity, Jiang Mo interprets this as authorization from the Angel God 28.

His protective Soul Power proves ineffective against Qian Renxue and the mysterious fire flower and ice grass. She passes through his protection and jumps into the spring, leaving him unable to intervene. After three days without her return, the brothers consider summoning Qian Daoliu; Jiang Mo guarantees that Dugu Yan will not be harmed even if Qian Renxue fails to emerge 29 30.

Once Qian Renxue returns, Jiang Mo and Qian Jun persuade her to demand Dugu Bo’s allegiance in exchange for detoxification rather than treating the cure as payment for the valley. Jiang Mo remains beside her while Qian Jun secretly monitors Dugu Bo 31 33.

Dispute over Dugu Yan’s treatment

Jiang Mo hopes that immortal herbs might allow Spirit Hall to cultivate Titled Douluo in large numbers, but learns that their scarcity prevents widespread use. He then argues that Dugu Yan’s promised herb should go to a more talented disciple with a more reliable background 34.

Qian Renxue angrily refuses to break her agreement. Qian Jun rebukes Jiang Mo for underestimating her independence and failing to understand her sympathy for another child raised by a grandfather 34 35.

Jiang Mo sincerely apologizes. He accepts Qian Renxue’s instruction that Spirit Hall must not bully weaker people or abandon promises because someone lacks talent 37.

After returning to Spirit Hall, the brothers report Sunset Forest’s unnatural emptiness: they encountered neither soul masters nor soul beasts, and even rapidly investigating nearby sounds revealed only trees and occasional footprints 38.

Dragon Realm deployment and defeat

Qian Daoliu dispatches Jiang Mo, Qian Jun, three other Titled Douluo, and a large Spirit Hall contingent to investigate the newly appeared Dragon Realm. The brothers subsequently help establish Spirit Hall’s control over its entrance 61 64 65.

While stationed there, Jiang Mo reviews intelligence about the continent’s new breakthroughs and suggests visiting the Clear Sky Sect after their relief arrives. He and Qian Jun are surprised that the Rank 98 Third Worshipper is being sent to replace them 71.

Di Tian later overwhelms the Spirit Hall personnel with his aura and severely injures Jiang Mo in one move, without displaying a martial soul or soul rings. Jiang Mo survives overnight treatment and assists Azure Luan Douluo’s investigation, describing an unfamiliar black-clad man with a dense dragon aura and a black dragon claw 74.

Di Tian takes portions of Jiang Mo’s memories to Gu Yuena, helping her identify Qian Renxue as the source of Spirit Hall’s Dragon Realm knowledge. Three days later, Golden Crocodile tells the brothers that the attacker was likely a powerful soul beast, possibly over three hundred thousand years old 74 75.

Personality

Jiang Mo is protective but pragmatic. He abandons the immediate chance to capture Xiao Wu because Qian Renxue’s safety matters more than a hundred-thousand-year soul bone. His familiarity with her becomes formal reverence once he believes her future godhood is certain 10 11.

His loyalty to Spirit Hall also drives opportunistic decisions. He supports taking Dugu Bo’s valley, using detoxification to secure allegiance, and reallocating Dugu Yan’s herb according to talent and political reliability 28 33 34.
