History

Conflict with Sea God Island and the Clear Sky Sect

Spirit Hall previously invaded Sea God Island, but was defeated after losing two Titled Douluo. Sea God Island also suffered severe losses, particularly among the Demon Soul Great White Shark clan; the conflict gave the island the continental reputation of “Devil Island.” 27 33

Its hostility toward Sea God Island remained a defining political issue. Bofeng regarded reconciliation as impossible because of the invasion and its aftermath, while Xiao Bai had personally fought on Sea God Island’s side. 21 33

Spirit Hall also pressured the Clear Sky Sect into closing its mountain gates, cementing another longstanding feud. 22 127

Heaven Dou City operations

The Martial Soul Main Hall in Heaven Dou City conducts Spirit Awakenings for children at age six and distributes the Soul Master’s Handbook. It is overseen locally by Platinum Bishop Salas. 22

When Nannan awakened an exceptional white-flower Martial Soul with Innate Full Spirit Power, Elder Ju attempted to recruit her. Bofeng refused on her behalf, fearing that Spirit Hall would pursue her because of her talent. 22 23 26

Bofeng later defeated Spirit Hall’s Golden Generation in a wager with Bibi Dong. The terms forced Spirit Hall into a partnership with the Department Store and granted it the right to open a branch in Spirit City. 67

Qian Xunji's return

After Bibi Dong relinquished the papacy, Qian Daoliu temporarily handled Spirit Hall’s affairs while Qian Xunji underwent purification in the Angel Sanctuary. 301

Qian Xunji was restored, reached Level 99, and became Spirit Hall’s new Pope. Though his Dark Power was cleansed from his body, he retained his hatred of Tang Hao and ambition to dominate the continent. 310 311

Under Qian Xunji, Spirit Hall prepared the Soul Hunting Operation, viewed by Bofeng and Ning Fengzhi as a threat to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. 301

Qian Xunji personally ordered an ambush against Tang San on the route to Spirit City, then later attempted to seize Xiao Wu after her identity as a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast was exposed during the Final Tournament. Qian Daoliu ultimately ordered the Shrek group released rather than risk provoking Tang Chen. 325 348 350

Qian Sulin's leadership

After Qian Xunji's death, Qian Sulin became Spirit Hall’s Pope. Her appointment placed Bofeng’s daughter at the head of the organization despite her young age. 416 423

She inherited the consequences of earlier schemes, including the failed Heaven Dou Palace coup. Although she reprimanded the participating elders, the failed operation made Spirit Hall and the Heaven Dou Empire irreconcilable enemies. 424 425

During the growing conflict with Heaven Dou, Qian Sulin ordered Spirit Hall’s subordinate Soul Masters to prepare for war after Xue Beng threatened Tang Nan. 468

Spirit Hall’s forces later conquered the Heaven Dou Empire and established the Spirit Hall Empire, making Qian Sulin an empress. 485
