Since Liu Baiyue had spoken, Han Jingchuan could hardly refuse.

Liu Baiyue nodded. This was truly a last resort, because the resources around Linshan City had nearly been picked clean.

There was not even a single mutated beast left in the vast North Mountain.

The company could hardly continue to develop.

So they had no choice but to go to Sakura Island Nation and capture some mutated creatures for research. After extracting their genes, they could throw them directly into the Zombie Tide.

With Japan's nuclear radiation being so severe, most biological flesh there was probably inedible.

Even if zombies ate it,

there was no telling what problems might arise...

Han Jingchuan, meanwhile, pondered that going to Japan was simply too dangerous. If he wanted to find Crystal Stones, he would at least have to face S-rank Parasitic Monsters.

With his own strength, it would be difficult to accomplish.

But capturing a few mutated creatures should not be much of a problem. He could also try to pick smaller ones, such as mosquitoes or flies.

Even so, he would first need to send some people to scout the way...

For the next period of time, a brief calm arrived.

The major factions practically entered a truce. None of them caused trouble in secret, instead developing on their own.

Only Black Nightmare remained fixated on Linshan City.

It often sent its underlings to harass them.

But the Augmented Humans held them back, so they gained little advantage.

Lin Dong was even more leisurely. No one dared provoke him at all. He stayed at home absorbing Crystal Cores, and with the Crystal Stones' assistance, he evolved rapidly. In just a few days, he was about to finish absorbing the High-Level Crystal
