Tamamo-no-Mae was a household name in Japan, one of the three great yokai—a white-faced, golden-furred Nine-Tailed Fox.

Tamamo-no-Mae was said to have been an unparalleled beauty who appeared toward the end of the Heian Era, during Emperor Toba's cloistered rule. Because of her vast knowledge and peerless beauty, she had been hailed as Japan's foremost talented woman.

There were many later versions of the tale of Tamamo-no-Mae. The most credible claimed that she had ultimately been suppressed by Abe no Yasunori and transformed into the Sessho-seki.

Now, it seemed the rumors were untrue. Tamamo-no-Mae was living out her retirement perfectly well in Himeji Castle.

Only when the curtains parted was Tamamo-no-Mae's true appearance revealed to everyone.

White-faced and golden-haired, with peach-blossom brows and eyes, crimson lips, and pearly teeth—especially those twitching ears, which gave people an urge to go up and knead them. Her three swaying tails created the illusion that one wanted to pet them bald.

Even girls felt an affection for Tamamo-no-Mae, let alone men.

Manaka Sajyou pursed her lips. This Tamamo-no-Mae was exactly the same as the one in Chaldea—she could hook any man with ease, and even women were no exception.

Aoko said, "Um, sorry, but we're still single, so we probably can't take part in this trial. How about we change it to another one?"

Tamamo-no-Mae reclined on the large bed, her three tails swaying irregularly and drawing the attention of all three girls.

Tamamo-no-Mae said, "So you're all unmarried maidens? That's even better. I'll first teach you some experience now, so your future marriages can be harmonious. Isn't that right?"

Aoko still wanted to argue, but one tail seized her and dragged her straight onto the bed. Then the curtains fell.

What followed were rustling sounds and Aoko's struggles.
