The Trio Without Hermione

Professor Snape glanced at Malfoy suspiciously and said calmly, "Malfoy, is there really something wrong with your eyes?"

As Malfoy's godfather, Snape was definitely on Malfoy's side.

If Malfoy really wants to sit in the front, he wouldn't mind giving Malfoy a back door.

Professor Malfoy hesitated for a moment, then gritted his teeth and said, "Lester is right, my eyesight has been a bit off lately, so I'd like to sit in the front."

Malfoy knew that Potions was usually taught in pairs.

The thought of being paired with Hermione, a Muggle wizard, filled Malfoy with inexplicable excitement.

Hermione is one of the few talented people around Harry. If Malfoy can really win Hermione away, then the trio will be one person short.

The seating arrangement in Hogwarts classrooms is quite unique, with the classrooms typically divided into two sections, left and right.

Since classes are usually attended by students from both houses, the students from the two houses sit separately, with Slytherin Gryffindor on the right.

Malfoy was just thinking about how to find an excuse to sit in the Gryffindor area.

Now that Lester has spoken up, it has undoubtedly given him a way out.

"Lester, that's Gryffindor territory," Malfoy said, frowning and feigning exasperation. "But since you think so, I'll just sit there."

Lester felt nauseous looking at her with an expression that said, "I don't want to sit there, but I went there because you told me to," a look that screamed her nausea.

Damn it, your eyes are practically beaming with joy, why are you pretending to be all bitter and resentful?

When Malfoy feigned great difficulty and reluctance, the way Slytherin looked at Lester changed again.

They had assumed that Malfoy's status meant he and Lester would be equals, but now it's clear that Lester is the elder brother.

Immediately, their awe of Lester increased once again.

Malfoy, feigning nonchalance, approached Hermione's deskmate and said gently, "Excuse me, classmate, my eyesight isn't very good, so I'd like to switch seats with you."

Lavender looked at the refined Malfoy in horror and nodded hastily.

Coming from a Half-blood wizarding family, she was well aware of the Malfoy family's infamous reputation in the Wizarding World, and she dared not refuse the Malfoy ' request.

Lavender hurriedly got up, showing no intention of switching seats with Malfoy, and instead went to the back row of Gryffindor.
