Professor Snape's Reward
Just as the two sides were at an impasse, the doors of the Hospital Wing opened, and Malfoy and Harry walked out.
"Ugh, so Gryffindor dogs here! They're so annoying! I just left the hospital and I already see these stinky dogs, ugh!"
As expected of Malfoy Malfoy, his taunting talent is truly maxed out; he starts with a perfect full-screen taunt.
"Malfoy, what are you barking about?" Ron Weasley was the first to jump out of Gryffindor, yelling, "You bastard, don't think you can be so smug just because you won the competition through trickery!"
"If Harry hadn't been... if Harry's broomstick hadn't malfunctioned, Harry would definitely have found the Golden Snitch first in this race!"
"Are you kidding me, Weasley?" Malfoy scoffed, sweeping his nostrils across the Gryffindor students present.
"You bunch of rotten fish and shrimp, all of you are garbage from the sewers. 150 to 0, with this level of skill, you dare to play Quidditch?"
Because he was almost strangled to death by Harry during the match, Malfoy is now in a very bad mood and wants to yell at anyone he sees.
He happened to see a group of Gryffindor players just as he was leaving, and with Lester watching over him, what was he afraid of?
Finally, all the Gryffindor players' faces turned grim, and Captain Wood's face was especially dark.
"Harry, are you alright? Are you hurt?"
Suppressing the urge to slap Malfoy, Wood turned to check on Harry.
"No, I'm perfectly healthy!" Harry blushed slightly, looking at Malfoy with a strange sense of guilt.
His health was indeed excellent, but Malfoy's was not necessarily so.
At this moment, Ron Weasley said with a regretful expression, "Harry, what a pity. If your broom hadn't had that accident, we Gryffindor probably wouldn't have lost."
Harry was extremely embarrassed upon hearing this. He was about to be thrown to his death, and all you cared about was winning or losing.
Fortunately, Harry knew Ron Weasley's temper, so he wasn't angry; he just smiled gently.
On the other side, Lester also showed concern for Malfoy.
"Malfoy, is everything alright?"
"It's nothing, I just suffocated for a few minutes and almost got strangled."
Lester: "..."
Harry: "..."
The Gryffindor players looked embarrassed upon hearing this, and their anger subsided.
All they knew was that Malfoy chased Harry with a broom as soon as he hit the ground, but they didn't know why.
Now, looking at Malfoy's resentful expression and Harry's extremely awkward look, they seemed to know what had happened between the two.
Just when the situation was getting really awkward, Professor Snape and Professor McGonagall arrived and eased the tension.
"Harry, are you alright?" Professor McGonagall asked anxiously, pulling Harry aside to ask him all sorts of questions.
Snape casually inquired about Malfoy's health.
"Professor, you don't know, I was almost killed by Potter, I..."
"...
After Malfoy recounted Harry's misdeeds to Professor Snape, Professor Snape gave Harry a strange look.
He then approached Lester and said calmly:
"You did a great job, the Slytherin team performed very well under your leadership!"
[Ding! You have received praise from Professor Snape. Task Points +1]
Professor Snape doesn't usually praise people, but this time Lester saved his goddess's son's life, so he had to do something to show his appreciation.
"You can come to my office in a bit. I have a few Potions here that would be perfect for a novice wizard like you."
When Lester heard that Professor Snape seemed to be about to give him Potions, his eyes immediately lit up.
Professor Snape deserves all the rewards for saving his goddess's child.
Moreover, Potions Master like Snape must be extremely proud, so the Potions given as rewards would naturally be incredibly precious.
If I get my hands on the Potions, I can just hand it over to Scarface for analysis, and that way I can generate more revenue for the Azkaban Academy!
Thinking this, Lester was so excited that he no longer even considered Gryffindor students to increase his Fear Points.
Anyway, the Gryffindor students can't run away, so I can bully them anytime.
"Thank you, Professor. I have time now. May I go get it now?" Lester said quickly.
Snape nodded slightly, without any hesitation, and said calmly, "Of course, this is your reward!"
Then, the aloof Professor Snape once again transformed into a giant bat and led Lester to his office on the basement level.
With Lester gone, there was no need for the Slytherin members to stay any longer, and they all returned to the common room.
The Gryffindor dispersed, leaving only Professor McGonagall concerned for Harry.
The cold, dark basement level, devoid of sunlight year-round, was incredibly gloomy.
As soon as Lester Snape's office, he instinctively shivered.
Don't get me wrong, Lester wasn't scared; it's just that Snape's office was too cold.
Snape used Advanced Undetectable Extension Charm on the office, making it a full 200 square meters, which would be the size of a large single-level apartment today.
There are four areas inside. On the east side is a huge solid wood desk with a small black notebook on it.
Lester looked over curiously and could see the words on it.
[A letter to Lily]
Lester: "..."
A letter to Lily —isn't this just Simp Diary?
"Ahem, don't loiter in my office, it's dangerous here!" Noticing Lester's gaze, Snape's face flashed with barely perceptible embarrassment as he reprimanded him:
"Everything here is dangerous. A little wizard like you should be careful in my office and not look around!"
With that, Snape carefully put the ' Simp Diary ' back in the drawer, and to be on the safe side, he even put a little magic lock on the drawer in front of Lester.
Lester: "..."
He only knew that Snape was a die-hard fan of Lily, but he never imagined that he had become so terminally ill.
Lily has been dead for so many years, and her son is old enough to go to school, yet Snape still writes in Lily's diary every day!
Perhaps because Lester had discovered his deepest secret, Snape now didn't want to talk to Lester much.
"Here you go, this is a reward for leading Slytherin to victory in this competition!"
Upon hearing this, Lester curled his lip in disdain.
You also gave him a reward for leading Slytherin to victory in a game. Marcus also led the Slytherin Quidditch Team to many victories back then, but I never saw you give him a reward.
The reason I rewarded myself was simply because I saved Harry.
