Great Hall Renovation
Ron Weasley shouted at the top of his lungs, "The thought of being alone with that dark wizard for so long makes me feel sick!"
"It's all Malfoy's fault! If he hadn't challenged me to a duel, I wouldn't have been targeted by Quirrell at all. I want compensation!"
Ron Weasley's voice was loud, and many people in the Gryffindor Common Room looked at Ron Weasley.
With so many people watching, Ron Weasley felt even more confident. "That's right, I need compensation. Malfoy made me spend so much time alone with the dark wizard; he has to make it up to me."
As soon as he finished speaking, Neville pushed aside the students in front of him and walked over.
The students who were initially annoyed by being pushed aside quickly changed their tune upon seeing Neville, all flashing fawning smiles and making way for him.
Neville is currently riding high on popularity; no one dares to call him "Little Fatty" anymore. Instead, everyone calls him Viagra.
"Ron Weasley, this is the common room, watch your voice!" Neville said curtly, his face unfriendly. "Besides, it was you who launched the sneak attack and tarnished Gryffindor's reputation. It's all your own fault."
"Neville is right, Weasley. It's your own stupidity that has nothing to do with the Slytherin."
"Exactly, they even resorted to sneak attacks, which has damaged the reputation of the entire Gryffindor."
Neville is doing well now, and many Gryffindor are planning to follow him, so they are naturally willing to kick him while he's down.
Ron Weasley's face was ashen, he was panting heavily, and he glared fiercely at Neville, while the others stared at Ron Weasley with disdain.
Harry tried to smooth things over, saying, "Ron Weasley, say no more."
"We're all classmates, and besides, what Ron Weasley said isn't entirely unreasonable, but he's just too radical."
"That's it, everyone disperse. We'll handle our own business with Malfoy."
As soon as the Chosen One spoke, all the Gryffindor dispersed, leaving only Ron Weasley and Harry awkwardly standing there.
A winter morning at Hogwarts is undoubtedly cold.
Several branches, weighed down by snow, swayed precariously in the gusts of wind, resembling a silver phoenix in flight. Snowflakes continued to fall from the sky, landing on the little wizard's robe and forming dappled patterns of light.
Last night, a heavy snow fell, and the entire Hogwarts was as if it had been painted white, turning it into an ice and snow kingdom.
Suddenly, a burst of cheerful laughter and playful shouts rang out in the peaceful campus.
On the snow in front of the restaurant, a group of young wizards dressed in Slytherin robes and thick cotton coats were patiently clearing the road, their breath steaming in the snow.
Malfoy touched his nose, which was red from the cold, and looked at the large clearing that had just been done. He sighed sincerely, "Snow removal is really hard work, especially since it had to snow on this particular day of all days."
Today is the day of the House Cup House Cup awards ceremony. To prepare for the ceremony, Lester and the young Slytherin wizards decorated the entire dining room yesterday.
This is the right of the victors; on this day, the winning college can decorate the school Great Hall as they please.
Wiping the fine sweat from his forehead, Malfoy turned around and looked at Lester and the others still working hard in the restaurant, feeling incredibly satisfied.
To make the dining hall look its best, the Slytherin students got up very early, some to shovel snow and others to decorate the Great Hall.
Actually, there was no snow shoveling task originally, but after Lester said that footprints in the snow would cause dirty water to stain the ground, several Slytherin immediately volunteered to shovel the snow.
No one wants their hard-earned day's work to be ruined by snow and sewage.
Inside the restaurant, Lester sat in the center, directing the other students as they set up the venue.
"Marcus, go and place this Slytherin insignia at the very top of the hall, in the most prominent place."
"Jiedi, don't just throw the Gryffindor insignia away. Place it at the foot of our flag."
"Pansy, go and place these statues in every corner of the Great Hall."
The sight of Slytherin united and thriving greatly pleased Professor Snape, who had just arrived.
He was just passing by the restaurant when he happened to see so Slytherin gathered together, so he came over out of curiosity.
He happened to witness everyone setting up the venue, and as the head of Slytherin, Snape expressed his satisfaction with the setup.
The entire dining hall was decorated in green, and Slytherin flags were everywhere. Even the long dining tables where students ate were changed to green and adorned with the Slytherin symbol.
Snape was increasingly satisfied. "Excellent, excellent, very well done."
"This Slytherin- themed bottle is well-placed and further highlights our style."
"Salazar's famous quotes are also very well written, not bad!"
"The statues of these former deans are also very well sculpted."
The area around the restaurant was utilized, and Lester, along with the upperclassmen of Slytherin, worked through the night to create statues of the past heads of Slytherin.
Below that are their life stories, for all to admire.
Suddenly, Snape, who had been in high spirits, turned pale and pointed at a statue that looked exactly like him from every angle, asking, "What's going on here?!"
The students carrying the statue were startled; their hands trembled, and the statue, which was floating in the air, almost fell.
"Professor Snape, what brings you here?" The Slytherin looked embarrassed and quickly used Levitation Charm to lower Snape's statue down.
"Why am I here?" Snape was angered by the question. He was the head of Slytherin, why couldn't he come!
"What are you doing?" Suppressing his anger—he couldn't get angry when he won the championship— Professor Snape asked after calming things down.
"This? Professor, of course it's your personal statue! What do you think? This was sculpted for you by Brother Lai himself."
Snape: "..."
Looking at the ashen-faced, almost grotesque statue before him, Professor Snape fell silent.
"You mean, this is what I actually look like?" Snape asked, a little nervously.
"Yes, Professor, what do you think? Lai Ge's carving is amazing, isn't it? It's practically a carbon copy of you!"
"..."
In his mind, although he wasn't a peerless beauty comparable to Pan An, he was still considered handsome and dashing.
But now, Snape, barely able to contain his irritation, looked at his own statue.
"So this is what I look like!" Professor Snape felt a little uncomfortable. Looking at the Slytherin with their matter-of-fact expressions, Snape began to reminisce.
"No wonder, no wonder, now I finally know why Lily left me!"
"No, I need to go back and update my Lily Diary right away!"
After thinking it over, Professor Snape's face darkened. He waved his large cloak, turned, and left the restaurant.
The Slytherin was left completely bewildered. "Is Professor Snape just too happy?"
"No wonder Lego said Professor Snape was such a tsundere; his way of expressing happiness was really strange."
