St Mungo's Hospital
St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries has six floors. The first floor is the Artefact Accidents, which specializes in treating accidents such as cauldron explosions, wand misfires, and flying broomstick accidents. It is also the department with the most patients, since wizards love to do all sorts of crazy things. Of course, the lobby and reception area are also on this floor.
The second floor houses the Creature-Induced Injuries Ward, which specializes in treating bites, stings, and burns from Magical Creatures. I heard that Newt used to come here often and practically lived here.
The third floor houses the Department of Magical Microbiology, which specializes in treating highly contagious magical diseases such as Dragon Pox, Spattergroit, and Vanishing Sickness. It's similar to the clinics in the Muggle world that specialize in treating infectious diseases, except that the microorganisms in the Wizarding World are often far more terrifying.
The fourth floor houses the Department of Pharmacy and Plant Poisoning, specializing in treating poisoning from Potions /magical plants, rashes, and uncontrollable laughter. The Hufflepuff badgers should know this well, since their Dean, Professor Sprout, is a specialist in Herbology.
The fifth floor is the Spell Damage Department, specializing in treating curses, spells, and long-term magical injuries. It's mostly long-term inpatients. Neville's parents live on this floor, Professor Lockhart also lived here in the movie, though right now he's probably eating rats in Azkaban. Life is full of sunshine here, isn't it? Su Yu thought mischievously.
There's not much to say about the sixth floor; it's the hospital's lounge and convenience store. Many visiting and waiting wizards are on this floor, and of course, family members can also rest, buy snacks or gifts, etc., on this floor as well.
The only thing Su Yu found unpleasant was that the hospital didn't have an elevator. Of course, the magical world wasn't like Muggle hospital where beds needed elevators to go up and down stairs; they could use spells to fly. But Su Yu still felt tired; he hated climbing stairs anyway. Kurama stood quietly on Su Yu's shoulder, watching the patients and therapists come and go, which made Su Yu even more frustrated. But putting Kurama on the ground felt unclean, so he had no choice but to carry her.
After climbing one staircase after another, Su Yu finally "struggled" to reach the fifth floor. What came into view was a frosted glass door, with walls on both sides in a slightly cool light blue, and glowing crystal bubbles floating on the ceiling, like floating soap bubbles, glowing softly.
Su Yu slowly walked in. It was very quiet here. Occasionally, he could see a few therapists in the distance. They were also talking in hushed tones and walking lightly, as if they were afraid of waking the patients who were still sleeping.
When Su Yu opened the door to the hospital room marked with the names of Frank Longbottom and Alice Longbottom, Neville, his grandmother Augusta Longbottom, and his Uncle Algie were already waiting inside.
Neville's grandmother seemed a little nervous. She seemed to have dressed up specially today, her fingers tightly intertwined, showing her inner turmoil. When she saw Su Yu walk in, she immediately stood up from her seat, glanced at Neville, and seemed to want him to introduce everyone.
But the awkward Neville was still staring at the candy wrapper his mother had just given him, too embarrassed to say anything, until Su Yu walked in and patted him on the shoulder.
"Relax, Neville. You should be happy today. Don't be nervous. I never do anything I'm not sure of, right? Think about it. What's the first thing you want to say when you see Mom and Dad wake up?"
Then Su Yu introduced himself to Neville's grandmother and uncle before going to Neville's parents' bedside to check on them.
When Kakashi was tortured by Itachi, it was far worse than what happened to Neville's parents. Kakashi was dragged into the mental world and tortured for three days and three nights. And it wasn't just four people torturing Kakashi; it was all people, constantly stabbing him with knives. Poor Kakashi's soul, consciousness, and spirit were forcibly torn apart, crushed, and destroyed. He was so badly beaten that he ended up in the hospital in a coma, his mind completely broken. Even Lady Tsunade was able to save him, so Su Yu didn't believe he couldn't save Neville's parents.
Kurama jumped off Su Yu's shoulder, checked on Neville's parents, and returned to Su Yu's body. The Pseudo-Six Paths Cloak appeared on Su Yu's surface. Su Yu reached out to their foreheads, and the Ten-Tails 'Chakra slowly enveloped them.
Gentle, pure Chakra slowly flowed into their consciousness, like a "soul massage," soothing the mental rifts, fragmented memories, and branded fears caused by the Cruciatus Curse. The power of the Ten-Tails continuously glued, repaired, and nourished their souls, while also piecing together and straightening their shattered consciousness.
"She's frowning! Mom's making an expression! Mom..." Neville watched the expressions gradually appear on his parents' faces. This was the first time he had ever seen such a scene since he could remember. Neville's grandmother was already in tears. She covered her mouth, afraid that she would disturb Su Yu. Her legs were trembling. She was only able to sit down slowly when she was helped by Uncle Algie.
Su Yu did not stop transferring Chakra. Although he had solved the problem of the two souls, seeing how thin and emaciated they were, with gray hair and withered appearance, he still used Medical Ninjutsu to nourish their deteriorating bodies and blood little by little until they regained their vitality and their hair returned to its original state. Only then did he withdraw his hands, turn around and give Neville a thumbs up.
"Very good, your parents are fine now. They might need a few more hours of sleep. Now it's your turn to shine, Neville. Have you thought about what you're going to say?"
"Su... Su Yu!" Neville rushed forward and hugged Su Yu tightly. This little boy, who always cried and never showed any "strength or courage," had tears welling up in his eyes for the first time, but he didn't let them fall. Su Yu patted Neville's back, comforted Neville's grandmother and uncle, and Tenseigan and left. What followed was a happy time for their family; it wasn't appropriate for him, an outsider, to be there.
It was still raining in London today. The air in Longbottom Estate was filled with the fresh scent of flowers and earth. Neville stretched lazily in his warm bed and slowly opened his eyes.
But unlike the previous decade or so, this time when Neville opened his eyes, he saw his parents sitting by the bed, smiling.
"Good morning, baby~" Alice gently ruffled Neville's hair and lightly kissed his forehead.
"Good morning, Mom!" Neville grinned foolishly, tears welling up in his eyes.
