Harry Banned from Quidditch
On Harry's side, because Malfoy's mouth was so foul, Harry couldn't stand it anymore and started fighting with Malfoy, and the Weasley twins also came to help.
The young master fought all three of them by himself. Although he didn't use his staff, he activated the Kurama Badge and punched Harry right away.
"It feels so good to beat you up, doesn't it? Potter, stand up like a man and fight me. Are you trying to imitate the Weasley ' father? You're acting like a girl, ready to go home and cry?"
When the Weasley twins heard Malfoy compare their father to a woman, they couldn't stand it and rushed up to fight Malfoy.
"Harry! George! Stop it, both of you!"
Madam Hooch blew his whistle and shouted, "Impedimenta!"
Malfoy then released his grip on Harry's neck, letting the force push him backward.
"What exactly are you doing?"
Madam Hooch stormed over angrily, whistle in one hand and wand in the other, even throwing his broom aside.
Harry's eyes were bruised and his glasses were knocked off; George's lips were swollen; Fred was limping; Crabbe was still chuckling; and Malfoy dusted off his arms, put his hands on his hips, and looked like a victorious rooster.
"Who gave you permission to fight in the academy? I've never had students as difficult as you. All of you, get to the dean's office now, immediately!"
Malfoy snorted indignantly, but still went to see Professor Snape with Crabbe. However, Professor Snape did not make things difficult for them, but only punished them by making them copy notes, which was not a big deal.
Professor Snape's casual question, "Where is Neville?" left Malfoy stunned for a long time.
Professor, you've changed! Aren't I your favorite student anymore? Why are you asking about Neville? This hurts Malfoy more than losing Quidditch Match.
Harry's side wasn't so lucky. They were first severely reprimanded by Professor McGonagall, and then Umbridge arrived and pulled out a copy of <Educational Decree Number Twenty-Five>.
The High Inquisitor will henceforth have supreme authority over all matters concerning punishment, sanctions, and deprivation of rights involving Hogwarts Academy students, and will have the power to modify such punishments, sanctions, and deprivation of rights imposed by other faculty members.
That disgusting Toad, just because the three of them have violent tendencies, just like that, Harry and the Weasley twins were banned from the competition, and permanently at that.
This is much harsher than solitary confinement; even Professor McGonagall couldn't stop it.
That evening, Angelina, still basking in the immense joy of the academy's victory, was struck dumb by the news, leaving her speechless.
Anger and frustration filled the Gryffindor Common Room. He sat by the fire, a hint of Gandhi, his spirits low.
Ron wasn't there; he disappeared somewhere after the Quidditch Match ended. I guess this was a huge blow to his mental health.
"This is not fair!"
Angelina nearly smashed the cup in her hand on the ground and stood up angrily.
"Fred didn't even lift a finger! Why should he be suspended?"
"I didn't even have time to make a move!" Fred's face was rather grim. He couldn't very well say that he was knocked down by Malfoy the moment he was about to attack, could he?
"If you hadn't stopped me, I would have beaten that little beast to a pulp!"
Looking at the stubborn Fred, Ginny sighed. She just felt it was so unfair. Malfoy, who also took action, was only punished for copying homework. When Ginny ran into them after dinner, she felt they were laughing their heads off.
"I want to sleep..." Angelina rubbed her head, looking exhausted. Her Gryffindor Quidditch team had just lost three players, plus Ron. That meant a direct loss of four players for a seven-person team. What kind of game could they possibly play now...?
"I really hope this is all a dream, and I'm just not fully awake yet..."
A little while later, the Weasley twins left too, leaving only Ginny and Harry by the fireplace.
Have you seen my Ron?
Harry shook his head, but just then, the Fat Lady opened the hole, and a figure crawled out—it was Ron.
His face was pale from the cold, and snowflakes clung to his hair. He was shivering and looked on with surprise when he saw Harry and Ginny.
Where did you go?
Ginny stood up and brushed the snowflakes off him, then pulled him to the fireplace.
"Walk..."
Ron muttered something, but his Quidditch outfit, which he hadn't even changed out of, betrayed him.
"You're practically frozen solid!"
Ginny felt a pang of sympathy for her disheveled brother.
"Sorry..."
Ron only dared to sit in the chair furthest from Harry, staring at his shoes and muttering to himself.
What are you doing?
Harry was somewhat puzzled.
"I thought I was a genius, capable of playing Quidditch Match... but I messed up the game... I'm quitting the Quidditch team first thing tomorrow morning, so I won't be a burden to everyone anymore."
"But if you quit the team now, we'll only have three players left."
Harry replied irritably, and seeing Ron's somewhat confused look, he explained it to him again.
"Your two brothers and I have been banned for life by Umbridge."
"What!!"
Ron screamed, his trembling stopped, and he stood up in surprise.
Ginny quickly told him what had happened after he left that day.
"It's all my fault... it's all my fault..."
"What's it to you? You did nothing wrong. I was the one who hit him, and I'm the one who got beaten up."
Harry rubbed his dark circles, looking somewhat annoyed.
"It's all my fault for being so useless... If it weren't for that, you wouldn't have..."
"It has nothing to do with you, Ron, I did it myself..."
"No... it was that song that made me nervous..."
"I told you it wasn't your fault. Anyone would be nervous, Ron... Please stop, Ron. Nobody's blaming you. Don't keep blaming yourself, okay? Things are bad enough already!"
Harry completely snapped and spoke up angrily.
Ginny took a cup of coffee, walked to the window, and looked at the snow scene outside. She didn't want to get involved in their argument.
Seeing the Slytherin Academy still having a snowball fight below, she decided to sneak down and play in the snow herself sometime later.
"I have good news for you!"
The opening to the lounge opened again, and this time Hermione walked in.
"You guys seem to be... um... feeling unwell?"
"What on earth happened, Hermione?"
Ginny turned and walked toward Hermione.
"Oh, I almost forgot if you hadn't asked! Hagrid's back! Surprised? Unexpected!"
Harry rushed back to his dormitory in an instant, grabbing his Invisibility Cloak and the Marauder's Map.
