• Hyuga Xiao and Kurenai Yuhi approached Leaf Village and Xiao used the Tenseigan to open a silent gap in its sensory barrier.
• Xiao and Kurenai slipped past village patrols and made their way to the Hyuga Clan’s Branch House area.
• Xiao recognized his abandoned former home and sensed a familiar chakra inside the courtyard.
• Xiao opened the door and found a hooded young woman sweeping beneath the dead cherry tree.

Xiao returned to the old courtyard and secretly killed two Root ninja who tried to abduct Hinata for Danzo’s experiments. Hinata recognized Xiao’s attack but kept sweeping as he left her in place to draw out more Root watchers.
