"Ugh!"
"That Gringotts goblin cart was absolutely awful!"
"How could he drive so recklessly, and at such a speed? It was even crazier and more thrilling than a roller coaster."
"I feel terrible. I need to go to the Leaky Cauldron for a drink to clear my head."
Hagrid looked pale and weak, completely at odds with his massive build.
Desperately in need of a drink to revive himself, Hagrid said only that before leaving.
Harry clutched his enrollment list, adjusted his money pouch, and walked into Madam Malkin's Robes, feeling a little nervous.
Madam Malkin was a short, plump witch in purple robes. Her warm smile made her seem very friendly.
However, Madam Malkin's attention was not on the new customer at the moment.
"Oh, my God, Mr. Katelyle! I have to say, you look incredibly handsome in these robes. They seem as though they were custom-made just for you."
"Since my shop opened, you are the most handsome, youthful, and aristocratic teacher I have ever seen!"
Madam Malkin looked at Katelyle, dressed in a silver-white aristocratic suit trimmed with gold and radiating sunshine, and praised him excitedly.
Katelyle looked at himself in the mirror and smiled. "Thank you for the compliment, Madam Malkin."
"Of course, your craftsmanship is excellent as well. This outfit suits me perfectly, and please wrap up that black one too."
Madam Malkin smiled. "No problem. It is an honor to serve you."
"Harry, are you here to buy clothes too?" Katelyle asked Harry with a smile from the doorway.
Harry smiled at that. "Yes, Mr. Katelyle."
"Um, I just heard Madam Malkin say that you are a teacher. Where do you teach?"
Harry was curious and expectant. Katelyle did not look very old, so it surprised Harry that he was already a teacher.
"Hogwarts!" Katelyle said with a smile.
"Wow, that is wonderful! Does that mean I have a chance to become your student?" Harry asked excitedly, then looked at him expectantly.
Katelyle smiled. "Perhaps."
"Hogwarts has four houses. You should know that."
"But no one knows which house you will be sorted into."
As he said this, Katelyle wore a meaningful smile. Looking at Harry Potter, he said, "However, based on what I know about you, Harry, you will probably go to Gryffindor."
"Why?" Harry asked in confusion.
"Because you are brave and clever, possess the spirit of a knight, and enjoy adventure," Katelyle said with a smile.
"Thank you!" Harry blushed slightly, adjusted his glasses, and looked rather pleased.
"Madam Malkin, this is my friend Harry Potter. He needs three sets of Hogwarts school uniforms. Could you please prepare them for him?" Katelyle said to Madam Malkin, who was packing nearby.
Madam Malkin looked at Harry Potter in surprise and shock. "So you are that Harry. It truly is an honor to see the real Harry Potter in person."
"Clothes are easy. Leave them to me!"
Madam Malkin's enthusiasm made Harry feel a little awkward, but under her sharp gaze, she still selected three sets of clothes suitable for him.
Soon afterward, they left the robe shop amid Madam Malkin's warm farewells.
"Harry, is there anything else you have not prepared?"
"Perhaps I can take you to get it."
Katelyle asked with a smile.
Harry grinned happily. "Really? That would be great. I need to see what I have not prepared yet."
With Katelyle beside him, Harry felt very relaxed. At the same time, he had developed an incredible sense of trust in him.
Harry looked at the long list of school supplies and said, "There really is a lot. It looks like I will have to trouble you, Mr. Katelyle."
The textbooks were: The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 1, A History of Magic, Magical Theory, A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration, One Thousand Magical Herbs, Magical Drafts and Potions, and The Dark Arts: A Guide to Self-Protection.
Equipment: one wand, one cauldron, one set of glass and crystal potion bottles, one telescope, one brass scale, and either an owl, a cat, or a toad.
Katelyle took Harry through the shops one by one, and before long, Harry was carrying a great many things.
Seeing this, Katelyle bought a leather suitcase from a shop and said to Harry, "Put all your things in the suitcase, Harry."
Harry looked at the small suitcase, which could barely hold three sets of clothes, and said, "Mr. Katelyle, this suitcase is too small. We should get a larger one."
Katelyle smiled. "It is fine. Trust me, this suitcase can hold all your things."
After saying that, Katelyle cast a spell on the suitcase. Then he waved his wand around Harry's books, equipment, and clothes, and all of them went into the suitcase.
"Wow, what kind of magic was that? How did you do it?" Harry, who did not yet understand magic, was filled with curiosity and excitement at the spell Katelyle had cast.
After his things were placed in the suitcase, they shrank to one-tenth of their size and sat neatly in one tiny corner of it.
"This is a Size-Expansion Charm, a relatively advanced spell. If you want to learn it, you can come find me," Katelyle said with a slight smile.
"Now, try lifting it."
Harry Potter picked up the suitcase and was surprised to discover that it was extremely light.
"How did you do that?" Harry asked in amazement.
"Because I cast a Levitation Charm on the suitcase. When you lift it, it will feel very light. The spell attached to the suitcase is permanent, unless someone dispels it," Katelyle said with a smile.
Harry witnessed the wonder of magic once more. Delighted, he swung the suitcase around as he spun in circles and said, "That is so cool!"
Then Harry said eagerly, "Mr. Katelyle, I want to learn magic from you."
Katelyle chuckled. "I hope so. I do not know how that old fellow Dumbledore will arrange my work."
Hagrid pushed through the crowded people and came over, carrying the smell of alcohol. He smiled and said, "Hi, so this is where you are!"
As he spoke, Hagrid handed Harry a snowy owl. "Harry, this is my birthday gift to you."
"I hope you like it."
Harry Potter looked at the adorable snowy owl and listened to Hagrid's words, deeply moved. He smiled and said, "Hagrid, thank you. This is the best gift I have ever received."
Every one of Harry Potter's birthdays had been uneventful. The Dursleys had never prepared any birthday gifts or parties for him.
So this was also the first gift Harry had ever received.
"Let me see, you have already prepared all the supplies."
"Mm, there is still one thing missing."
"Now, you have one very important thing left to do: buy a wand that suits you."
"Only a wand suited to you can bring out your power to its fullest."
Hagrid looked through Harry's suitcase and smiled happily.
Thinking of having his own wand and being able to cast magic, Harry smiled excitedly. "That is wonderful! I am going to have a wand of my own."
