Joining Hogwarts

When Hagrid returned, Katelyle did not stay with Harry, because Harry still had his own journey ahead of him—and his own wand to obtain.

Getting to know Harry had been enough.

He was rather looking forward to seeing which path the chosen one of this magical world would take in the future.

After leaving Diagon Alley, Katelyle returned home.

Since he was about to leave this home for Hogwarts, it needed a thorough tidying. At the very least, he did not want anyone breaking into his home for quite some time.

Katelyle picked up a briefcase and took a wooden puppet from it.

As Katelyle took it out, the puppet continuously grew larger until it reached a height of nearly six feet.

The puppet wore a suit and bow tie, with a handlebar mustache that made him look exceptionally shrewd.

Katelyle drew his wand and pointed it at the puppet. "I grant you a soul. Be loyal to me. Divine Descent."

A flash of light shot from Katelyle's wand and fell upon the puppet. The next moment, the puppet came to life.

He was no longer a puppet, but a body of flesh, blood, and soul.

The puppet moved his body, then noticed Katelyle. He said in a highly gentlemanly manner, "Master!"

Katelyle examined the man before him and smiled faintly. "From now on, your name is Katevis. You are my butler. While I am away, you will manage this Household."

"You may read all the books in the house, but you are not allowed into the basement. Understood?"

Hearing this, Katevis said to Katelyle with impeccable manners, "Thank you very much for your gift, Master. Vis will strive to fulfill the duties expected of a butler."

Katelyle nodded and smiled. "All right, go do what you need to do. In a few days, I will be leaving for a while."

"Yes, Master!" Katevis smiled slightly, then turned and left. He quickly settled into his role and began managing the house.

Satisfied, Katelyle returned to his room. Although he often used magic to maintain the house and kept it fairly clean and tidy, it would become quite dirty if nobody looked after it while he was away.

Besides, the house needed a little life to it. At least with a butler here, perhaps it would be better.

Divine Descent was one of the spells Katelyle had obtained through his magical inheritance, an exceptionally advanced light-element spell at the level of forbidden magic.

It was forbidden magic that an Archmage could barely cast, while a Holy Archmage could cast it with ease.

Over the next few days, after staying at home briefly, Katelyle left.

"Hogwarts!"

Using Floo Powder, Katelyle easily arrived at Hogwarts and appeared in Dumbledore's office.

At that moment, besides Dumbledore, Deputy Headmistress Minerva McGonagall was also in the room. They seemed to be discussing something.

Katelyle's sudden appearance caught Deputy Headmistress McGonagall off guard, and she immediately looked toward Dumbledore.

For Katelyle to appear in the office, he had clearly been there before and was familiar with Dumbledore.

Seeing Katelyle step out of the fireplace, Dumbledore smiled and rose to his feet. "Kate, you have finally arrived. I am very pleased that you accepted my invitation."

After shaking Dumbledore's hand, Katelyle smiled. "I simply felt that it was time for more people to carry my magic forward. Although it is tremendously destructive, I believe this is the beginning of overturning the magical world."

Dumbledore chuckled. "The magical world remains dangerous and deeply dark. I believe it needs a new power, one that can bring peace to the magical world amid its turmoil."

"Hogwarts is an excellent stage. Besides, I can guarantee you with my character and my honor that those troublesome people will never interfere with your teaching."

Katelyle looked at the earnest Dumbledore and smiled faintly. "Albus, I hope you understand that my magic will draw the attention of those people at the Ministry of Magic. Hogwarts will become a school filled with power in the future."

At this, Dumbledore adjusted his glasses, a smile appearing on his face. "There are too many Death Eaters. They are plotting war in the shadows, and Hogwarts may be caught up in it. If the children possess strong means of protecting themselves, Hogwarts can avoid an even greater crisis."

Katelyle looked at Dumbledore with a smile, pondered for a moment, then said, "Albus, in my eyes, you have always been a wise and great white wizard."

"You can always find something worth cherishing in others, no matter how downtrodden or inconspicuous they may appear."

"Moreover, you are always prepared for the future. I trust your judgment and wisdom."

"It is a great honor to become a teacher at Hogwarts. However, I am curious—what position will I hold at Hogwarts?"

After hearing Katelyle and Dumbledore's conversation, Deputy Headmistress Minerva McGonagall was initially puzzled, then seemed to understand somewhat. Still, she said, "Forgive me for interrupting your conversation, but Albus, should you not introduce this young man before us?"

Deputy Headmistress Minerva McGonagall looked at the delighted Dumbledore, full of curiosity.

Was this young man that person?

Dumbledore burst into laughter, entirely unlike his usual calm and composed manner.

"Professor McGonagall, my name is Katelyle. It is an honor to meet you. I have often followed your papers on Animagus transformation. I hear you have also written a book, and I hope to have the opportunity to read it."

Katelyle glanced at Dumbledore, then took the initiative to introduce himself to Professor McGonagall.

Hearing that Katelyle was also a fan of hers, Professor McGonagall immediately smiled a little more, while also confirming Katelyle's identity.

"It is an honor. Albus often discusses you with me and praises you highly, especially for creating entirely new magic. That is absolutely a miracle."

"If possible, I would like to become your student and learn this new magic."

"Also, welcome to Hogwarts."

Katelyle smiled faintly, shook Professor McGonagall's hand, and said, "We can learn from each other. Through your papers, I have developed some research of my own on Animagus transformation. Therefore, I very much look forward to discussing it further with you. Perhaps through this opportunity, we can make Animagus casting and application easier and more convenient."

Hearing that Katelyle had other research concerning Animagus transformation, Professor McGonagall immediately became interested. "Professor Kate, if possible, I would like to discuss Animagus transformation right now."

Seeing this, Dumbledore chuckled, then interrupted their conversation. "Hey, Professor McGonagall, Katelyle has only just arrived. We need to hold a welcome reception for him."

"The new students will be arriving soon, and you have work of your own to do."

Professor McGonagall said with some regret, "Albus, you are dampening my enthusiasm. You should assign this task to someone else."

Dumbledore ignored Professor McGonagall and pulled Katelyle out of the office. "We need to go to the Great Hall now and hold a welcoming ceremony for the new students and Katelyle."
