Background / History

Jason lived in Crime Alley before encountering Miao Mu and the Gotham police. When asked about his family, he identified himself only as “Jason Todd” and gave Crime Alley as his home. Miao Mu recognized him as the future second Robin and offered him food, companionship, and a place at his side; Jason immediately accepted, having mistaken Miao Mu for a powerful gang boss 49 50.

After Miao Mu was injured fighting Electrocutioner, Jason refused to leave him unprotected, operated a fire hydrant to soak their enemy, and helped Oswald transport Miao Mu for medical care 60 61.
