Miao Mu reunited with Rorschach, Batman, and Doctor Strange to find the Space Stone and arrest Veidt, while the stone helped bring Mime and Marionette’s child back. As the Multiverse Combat Tournament’s trial reached Miao Mu’s allies and General Zod’s fleet approached Earth, Miao Mu recruited Barry to gather the heroes.

• Miao Mu survived Dormammu’s influence, received dark magic from the encounter, and was sent by Doctor Manhattan to seek the Space Stone.
• Batman and Doctor Strange fought the sorcerers and demons in the Mirror Dimension, defeated the Frost Giant, and rescued Rorschach.
• Miao Mu found the Demon Scepter in Hell, absorbed its power, rejected Malebolgia’s offer, and returned to Los Angeles to track the Space Stone.
• Miao Mu joined Batman, Doctor Strange, Rorschach, and Daniel in Antarctica, where they defeated Veidt’s creatures and found the Space Stone in his pyramid.
• Doctor Strange took the Space Stone, unknowingly giving aliens their final coordinates, while Miao Mu arrested Veidt and learned the stone had returned Mime and Marionette’s child.
• Three-Five-One began a multiverse tournament trial, sending gray Matchstick Men to attack Miao Mu, Brucie, Jason, Dick, and Arthur Curry as General Zod ordered his fleet to attack Earth.
• Nygma organized a large corn harvest and sale that supported the Kents and fueled Gotham’s growing recovery.
• Miao Mu recruited Barry to the Justice League, showed him the approaching spaceship, and sent him to invite Batman and Superman to meet at the corn’s original growing place.

Batman, Miao Mu, and their allies faced a Kryptonian invasion as mechanical giants devastated Earth’s cities and Clark was captured. The heroes launched a counterattack in orbit, where Miao Mu confronted General Zod aboard the flagship.

• Batman caught Dick and Jason dismantling the Batmobile, then brought Jason to Brucie, who arranged for Bane to teach the boys.
• Miao Mu warned Clark that Martha might be in danger, and the group raced to Kent Farm, where Kryptonian warriors attacked and Clark fought their captain, Udom Say.
• Clark and his allies captured four Kryptonians and brought them to the Fortress of Solitude, while Gotham’s defenders prepared to face approaching forces.
• More than a thousand alien pods descended on Earth as General Zod hijacked global satellites and demanded Carl, and the pods produced Mechanical Giants that attacked the cities.
• Miao Mu, Batman, Superman, the Rogues, and Gotham’s residents fought the Mechanical Giants, while Batman rescued Harvey Dent and Jack Napier from attackers.
• General Zod captured the exhausted Superman and ordered the rebuilding of Krypton’s Gene Bank, and Miao Mu recruited Deathstroke and joined Batman, Brucie, and Luthor’s team for an orbital mission.
• The heroes entered the Kryptonian fleet, where Batman and Brucie fought soldiers as Miao Mu searched for Superman, and Zod confronted Miao Mu, and a neighboring warship exploded as Zod raised his sword.

After defeating General Zod, the heroes and their allies searched Belle Reve and beyond for the missing Batman, Superman, and others, while Lex Luthor advanced his plans. The scattered group eventually reunited, though Constantine’s attempt to retrieve the Mother Box unleashed Steppenwolf and brought the First of the Fallen to his door.

• Miao Mu and Batman helped revive Superman, then the three escaped General Zod’s exploding warship as Lex Luthor and Martian Manhunter survived the blast.
• Peter Parker began working for Penguin, while Jason, Dick, and Nashton sought help to rescue Barry from Belle Reve and encountered Poison Ivy.
• Jason and Dick recruited Bane, then broke into Belle Reve, where Barry and Deathstroke escaped their cells and Bane fought Deathstroke through the prison.
• Spider-Man joined the battle at Belle Reve as Amanda Waller sent Task Force X into the prison, and Ratcatcher Otis’s rat swarm overran the facility.
• Miao Mu, Batman, and Superman remained trapped on Themyscira by the Mother Box until it vanished, allowing them to leave as Constantine summoned it to his office.
• Constantine’s spell drew Steppenwolf out of the Mother Box, and the First of the Fallen appeared to claim Constantine’s soul.
• Clark reunited with Martha and the others, Miao Mu returned to his household and promised Jason a trip to sea, and Bruce Wayne went home with Dick to Alfred’s welcome.
