Vibranium Scheme, Traps, and Countermeasures

The peace of the Thunder Temple was replaced by a new sense of purpose. The Vibranium Dr. Banner needed had become their top priority. Lin Ye had never been one to wait for opportunities; he preferred to create them.

"Remy, conduct a full analysis of the fluctuation patterns in Wakanda's energy barrier. Find the weakest time window and location. Simulate an infiltration plan—I need the most efficient route." Standing before the central control console, Lin Ye issued his orders.

"Analysis in progress... Wakanda's barrier uses Vibranium Energy Resonance Technology. Its defensive capabilities are extremely high, and conventional methods cannot breach it. However, its internal energy supply experiences periodic fluctuations. Every seventy-two hours, the barrier in Sector B7 of the southern border undergoes an energy-level drop lasting approximately 1.7 seconds. While insufficient for large objects to pass through, it is enough for a highly condensed energy body or an individual who has undergone spatial folding to penetrate briefly." Remy promptly responded, projecting a detailed map and energy waveform chart.

"1.7 seconds... enough." Lin Ye calculated his own speed. "Keep monitoring it. When is the next fluctuation?"

"In twenty-seven hours and fourteen minutes."

"Good." Lin Ye noted the time. He intended to make the trip himself, see this isolated technological kingdom for himself, and incidentally "borrow" some of their abundant local specialties.

Just as Lin Ye was planning his trip to Wakanda, S.H.I.E.L.D. intercepted the rumors concerning the "Chitauri Mothership Core."

Aboard the Helicarrier, Fury narrowed his single eye as he examined the report delivered by the intelligence division.

"Siberian Abandoned Base? Chitauri core?" He snorted. "This stench is far too familiar. A Hydra trap. Who are they trying to bait? Us? Or..." He thought of the man interested in advanced technology and energy sources.

"Coulson, what do you think?"

Coulson pondered for a moment. "It is clearly a trap aimed at Mr. Lin. Should we warn him? Under the agreement, we are obligated to share intelligence."

"Of course we should warn him." Fury nodded. "But that is not all. This is an opportunity. Since Hydra has set a trap, they must have backup plans and observation posts nearby. Natasha, lead a team. Disguise yourselves as an 'interested' third-party force, approach the area, conduct counter-reconnaissance, locate Hydra's surveillance points, and preferably take some prisoners alive!"

"Understood." Natasha accepted the order and immediately turned to make preparations. Counter-infiltration missions like this were her specialty.

On Hydra's side, Garrett waited confidently for the fish to take the bait. He had deployed layers of surveillance around the target base, along with an elite rapid-response unit. The moment anyone intruded, they could immediately surround and capture them—or at least obtain detailed data.

But he never imagined that what arrived would not be the curious "Thunder," but S.H.I.E.L.D.'s finest agent and a superbly disguised field team.

Using exceptional stealth techniques, Natasha's team easily bypassed the ordinary outer surveillance. Like surgical scalpels, they precisely located Hydra's two hidden observation posts, silently dealt with the guards inside, and obtained their communication logs and surveillance data.

"The target base has been confirmed empty. There are no energy readings. The rumors were indeed fabricated," Natasha reported. "We have captured four Hydra surveillance operatives and obtained some communication codes. We are tracing the source in reverse."

Fury sneered in the command center. "Excellent! Keep digging. I want Garrett's entire line exposed!"

Thunder Temple.

Lin Ye also received the "friendly reminder" S.H.I.E.L.D. had sent as promised through Remy—an alert regarding the Siberian trap and notice that S.H.I.E.L.D. had already taken countermeasures.

"Hydra... they really never give up." Lin Ye shook his head as he read the intelligence. "A trap this low-grade thinks it deserves my personal attention?"

He could not even be bothered to pay it much attention.

"Remy, send S.H.I.E.L.D. a reply: 'Noted, thanks. Make good use of the trash—no need to be polite.'"

This message, dripping with mockery, soon reached Fury. It left him torn between laughter and exasperation, but it also confirmed that Lin Ye had no interest whatsoever in the trap.

Twenty-seven hours later.

Wakanda's southern border, where the vast African grasslands met dense forests.

Through the Sanctuary's long-range teleportation, Lin Ye's figure silently appeared beneath the shadow of a massive baobab tree. A thin layer of environment-mimicking optical camouflage and energy shielding covered his body; even the sharpest animals would have struggled to notice him.

He looked up. Before him lay what appeared to be an ordinary valley, but through his Mind Network and energy perception, he could see an almost invisible energy barrier faintly glowing blue. Like an inverted bowl, it enveloped the entire kingdom of Wakanda. Energy flowed across its surface, radiating a resilient, stable aura.

"Remy, countdown."

"Barrier energy-level drop countdown: 10... 9... 8..."

Lin Ye took a deep breath. [Thor Form] remained inactive, but his body had already adjusted to its optimal state, with lightning energy gathering within him, ready to erupt.

"...3... 2... 1! Energy level dropping!"

At the instant the barrier's energy fluctuations reached their predicted low point—

Whoosh!

Lin Ye moved! He did not transform into some exaggerated streak of lightning. Instead, he pushed his speed to the limit, his body seeming to merge with the air as he became a pale-blue blur too swift for the naked eye to catch, precisely passing through the fleeting gap in the barrier!

1.7 seconds later, the barrier returned to normal as though nothing had happened.

And Lin Ye was already standing on Wakandan soil.

The sight before him made even this well-traveled transmigrator stare in mild amazement.

In the distance was no longer the image of backward African tribes, but a breathtaking scene where futuristic skyscrapers blended perfectly with natural landscapes. Maglev trains glided silently along elevated rails, aircraft moved through the low skies in orderly streams, and people dressed in traditional clothing wore high-tech transparent displays on their wrists... Vibranium technology had turned this place into a utopia hidden away from the world.

"Now this is a nice place." Lin Ye clicked his tongue in admiration. His Mind Network rapidly expanded, avoiding crowds and surveillance while sensing the dense Vibranium energy fluctuations permeating the air.

The core of the Vibranium vein lay underground at the center of the kingdom, where security was extremely tight. But that was not his target.

"Remy, scan for the nearest Vibranium materials warehouse or research institute. We need finished or semi-finished materials, preferably scraps or experimental leftovers. There is no need to touch their core vein or reserves." Lin Ye still had "professional ethics"—he was only borrowing a little, not causing destruction.

"Scanning... Target locked: the underground materials storage facility beneath the third laboratory building of the Wakandan Royal Institute of Technology. This facility is mainly used to store experimental Vibranium alloy samples and processing leftovers. Its security level is high, but lower than that of the central vein. A small unmanned transport vehicle has been detected traveling from the direction of the vein toward this facility, likely delivering a new batch of experimental materials."

"Good. That's the one." The corner of Lin Ye's mouth curled upward as his figure vanished again, stealthily heading toward the Wakandan Royal Institute of Technology like a ghost.

His operation had perfectly bypassed Wakanda's external defensive barrier, yet he had silently infiltrated one of its most central areas.

A precise "borrowing" operation targeting Vibranium had quietly begun.

And Wakanda's proud security system had yet to notice the arrival of this uninvited guest.
