Facing immediate execution, he bound the God-Tier Choice System and chose the reward that granted him the Rumble-Rumble Fruit. He destroyed the Ten Rings convoy, freed Tony Stark and Yinsen from the vehicle, and took the Mark I blueprints and a miniature Arc Reactor before departing. 1

After reaching Manhattan, Lin Ye activated the AI Remy, established a legal identity, and began monitoring global anomalies. He refused Natasha Romanoff's initial attempt to assess him, making clear that he knew S.H.I.E.L.D. and would not accept being tested or watched. 2 3

He intervened in Hulk's Brooklyn rampage to establish his reputation and secure Bruce Banner as an ally. Rather than destroy Hulk, Lin Ye used Armament Haki, internal lightning damage, and electromagnetic restraints to subdue him, then removed Banner from General Ross's custody. 3 4 5

When the Bone Monarch attacked through the Elder Contract Stele, Lin Ye and Remy identified and reinforced the contract energy restraining its will. The clearer inscriptions revealed an agreement between the Monarch and the Vishanti and other forces of order, together with an equivalent-retaliation clause that could weaken the agreement after a violation. Recognizing the danger of continued passive defense, Lin Ye resolved to find the Monarch's Phylactery or true name in the Endless Bone Graveyard and began preparing an expedition with Kamar-Taj's maps and potential allies. 51 52

Lin Ye recruited the Guardians of the Galaxy and departed with them and Banner. During the expedition, he disrupted the Undead Legion's support network, but Groot was destroyed while intercepting a death-law attack aimed at him.
