Background

Tang San was not naturally born or accidentally transmigrated. The Sky Screen reveals that ancient gods refined him as an artificial living anchor bound to Douluo's core, designed to sleep while the plane prospered and loosen as it declined. His rebirth, twin martial souls, opportunities, divine inheritance, and ascent were all components of a script meant to forge a stable gateway to the Dark Heavens. 71 73

At the beginning of the story, he is a recently awakened youth at Nording Academy. He later attends Shrek Academy and forms a close bond with Xiao Wu, whom he calls his beloved companion. 1 4

The Sky Screen's reviews destroy his public image by exposing the Tang Sect's bloody history, the extermination of the Human-Faced Demon Spider clan, his plundering of the Icefire Yin Yang Well, and his alleged calculation behind Xiao Wu's future sacrifice. Personality

Tang San initially presents himself as fiercely protective of Xiao Wu. When she becomes the target of a continental hunt, he promises to protect her even at the cost of his own life, though he is frightened by the overwhelming strength pursuing them. 5

He is also proud, resentful, and deeply attached to the Tang Sect. After accepting Li Xuan's armor to survive, he privately vows revenge for the humiliation he suffered. The revelation that the Tang Sect was built on cruelty leaves him enraged and psychologically shattered. 5 12

The Sky Screen portrays his earlier conduct as selective compassion: he expresses devotion toward Xiao Wu while having slaughtered other Soul Beasts for power, resources, and soul rings.
