After passing that ash-gray city wall once again and returning to the Academy, Green had intended to visit his Mentor. However, Mentor Lilian had entered a critical stage of her experiment and prohibited anyone from disturbing her. After learning this in front of his Mentor's laboratory, Green could only silently wish her success before returning to his villa.

Back at the villa, Green closed the door and looked at his finger. As Mental Power surged, a white Arcane Sigil flew out from his fingernail. It was Newt's Sigil.

The white Arcane Sigil floated in the air, constantly changing. It formed a screen of light in the air, and a scene slowly emerged within it—the cliff canyon where they had entered the ruins!

The forest surrounding the canyon exuded a sinister aura. A thin mist shrouded the area, making it impossible to see the situation clearly.

Newt's figure slowly appeared within the screen of light. He was standing at the edge of the cliff.

"Green! The moment I came out, I saw that your Arcane Sigil was still lit! I'm so glad to see you again. That ruin was far too dangerous! Luckily, you're all right. Otherwise, I would've felt guilty for the rest of my life!" The moment Newt opened his mouth, he expressed his joy at seeing Green again!

Green looked at Newt within the screen of light without much reaction. The Arcane Sigil could only record images and sound; it could not support a real-time conversation. What stood before him was merely a recording Newt had sent back. Who knew how much time had already passed?

"Looks like you came out before me! You've probably already returned to the Academy. I should be back soon too. We'll talk then!"
