Is It My World?

Inside the black World Passage, Green sensed the difference the moment he entered. Pressure bore down on him from every side, as though he had sunk into the deep sea. Every cell in his body felt it.

As he traveled onward, Green could feel his body brushing against the passage's edges.

"The World Passage is at its limit. Now that I'm a Third-Level Wizard, it can barely bear my passage!"

When the passage was first built, the highest energy level a single lifeform could have and still pass through was Third Level. But Green was no ordinary Third-Level Wizard. He held more energy, his very essence was stronger, and his energy level exceeded that of other Third-Level Wizards.

Feeling himself scrape against the passage's edges, Green carefully reined in his power, doing everything he could to minimize the damage.

He was like a stone wider than a straw, being forced through it. He had to keep his power in check, lest he tear open the passage and throw spacetime into chaos.

Powerful as he was, survival in the Endless Void required, at minimum, the strength of a Fourth-Level Lifeform.

If the passage broke and he accidentally fell into the Endless Void, unable to return to the Wizarding World, he would be in real trouble.

At the thought, Green drew his power in even more carefully and had the Chip monitor the passage at every moment, watching for any sudden mishap.
