A New Method

Dennis, Will, and Trak arrived quickly. They had not gone far from Green's territory; the three had been making the final preparations for Fifth-Level War Sorcery when Green's message reached them, so they soon arrived at his Wizard Tower.

"Good day, Mentor Lilian, School Head Dennis, Deputy School Heads Will and Trak!"

Outside the Wizard Tower, Green greeted the four of them with a hand-over-heart salute.

Because the School was preparing to establish a public presence, Dennis, Will, and Trak had already taken formal positions within it.

The rest of the School's structure would be settled in detail once its plans were complete.

Green looked at the four of them. The strain of running the School had plainly left them exhausted, their faces a little pale and their eyes somewhat hollow. The three arranging the Fifth-Level War Sorcery looked worse still.

"Green, is there something urgent you called us here for?"

Lilian spoke first. Knowing Green, she was sure he would not summon them without reason. He must have learned something about the prophecy; otherwise, he would not have suddenly asked all four of them to come.

"Mentor, please come with me first."

Green gestured for them to follow.

The four exchanged glances, then nodded to one another and followed him.

Green soon led them to the study at the top of the Living Area.

Click! As the door shut, Green turned to face them, his expression grave.

"Deputy Speaker Will, do you know the details of the world we're about to invade?" Green's blunt question plunged the room into silence.

"Green, you don't want to take part anymore?" Lilian asked, her face bitter.

To the four of them, his sudden question clearly meant he did not want to take the risk. News of Rilkes had spread across the entire
