Three years later...
In the boundless Gray Mist, an airship wrapped in dense runes burst out of the mist with a thunderous roar.
The moment the airship broke through, the dense runes vanished. Blue-green particles surged out in a sudden rush, enveloping the vessel as it sped away from the Gray Mist Zone.
"Long live Lord Green! Long live the great Sun Lord!" A deafening cheer rose from within the airship.
Numerous Wizards crowded along the window ledges. The instant they saw the sun, they all roared in celebration, joy written across every face.
In the airship's command room, Green wore a smile, his expression relaxed as he basked in the sunlight streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows ahead.
Flying through the Gray Mist Zone had put the greatest strain on Green. As the airship's pilot and the only one able to directly observe the World Remnants and Rules, he had to keep constant watch over the vessel's interaction with the outside world. Whenever they encountered a World Remnant with a high level of activity, Green had to adjust their course in real time.
"Good thing the Chip is so capable. Its real-time analysis far surpasses that of ordinary Wizards, and it took a lot of the pressure off me!"
During the entire journey through the Gray Mist Zone, Green had actually changed the airship's course several times.
Thinking back on three years without sleep or rest, all Green wanted now was to get some proper rest.
He used his Mental Power to notify the airship's core to reduce its speed and activate its concealment barrier, then headed for the bedroom behind the control room. He needed a good night's sleep.
"Once I wake up, I'll refine the Nightmare Race's Soul Crystals. It's time to strengthen myself!"
