Beside the garden lake, Errant Green, dressed in a hemp robe, slowly opened his eyes.
"There's little chance of investigating the essence of Law now. I can't yet access that kind of Higher Knowledge. All I can do is explore the uses of this body!"
Summarizing its patterns and using the big to understand the small wasn't a bad idea either. That was what Green thought.
"First, let's see how this body has changed." Green walked to the lakeside and looked at his reflection on the water.
His green, slit-pupiled eyes stood out sharply, mingling with black and red markings. Together with the oval leaf mark on his forehead, they gave him an eerily Evil appearance.
The changes to his appearance didn't hold Green's attention for long. He'd only checked to make sure nothing strange had grown on him. Since nothing had, he didn't care.
Green quickly focused on the abilities of his bloodline. First, he tested its power to erode and penetrate the Sun.
Green fixed his gaze on the Sun in the sky. This mortal body felt no discomfort looking at it; instead, it seemed eager to give it a try.
Activating the ability came as naturally as breathing. The instant Green thought of using it, his figure vanished from the spot.
Green felt his field of vision change as he began rising steadily, as if in flight. But he had no control over it; he could only passively fly toward some destination.
He felt as though he'd become something intangible, rising like a gentle breeze, until he soon entered an object.
Suddenly, an explosively powerful force surged through his entire body. Green immediately recognized it as the power of the Sun.
He felt something within his soul changing rapidly, a force inside it operating on its own.
