Green fell from the sky and returned to human form. He raised his hand and looked it over once more.
"The essence of my soul and body hasn't changed at all. That unchanging nature must be the price!" Green said, slowly turning away from the artificial lake before him and walking toward the flower bed nearby.
In the flower bed, all kinds of blossoms competed to bloom, dazzlingly colorful.
Expressionless, Green reached out his right hand, gripped the stems of several flowers, and yanked hard.
Looking at the brightly colored flowers, Green brought them straight to his mouth, opened wide, and bit down.
After chewing for a while, his Adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed with a gulp. The plants disappeared completely into Green's stomach!
"It feels like eating a mixed fruit platter!" Green remarked. Each flower had a different flavor. Unlike the bitter taste flowers normally had, the third ability of this body seemed to have altered his sense of taste for plants to some extent.
Before long, Green had eaten a great deal of the flowers and plants in the flower bed. He only stopped when a feeling of fullness came over him.
A warm current quickly spread from Green's stomach throughout his body, then gathered at his brow.
The original oval leaf-shaped mark on his brow began to change rapidly, forming the shape of a maple leaf. Green patterns spread from the leaf's tips and stem, creeping over his entire body.
Soon, the green markings covered him from head to toe.
As the patterns took shape, Green felt an extremely powerful, explosive force surge through him.
