In the laboratory, Green put the White Full-Moon Pendant away in his pocket dimension, then looked up at the three moons in the sky, a sharp glint in his eyes.

Given the Mystic Realm's nature, it was time for him to open a passage to another space and begin expanding.

The Mystic Realm provided three methods for opening spatial passages.

They were passage from a lower-level space to a higher-level space, passage from a higher-level space to a lower-level space, and transfer between spaces of the same level.

Opening a passage from a lower-level space to a higher-level one, or transferring between spaces of the same level, was very simple. It hardly consumed any energy at all.

But passage from a higher-level space to a lower-level one was another matter. The energy cost would soar rapidly.

At lower levels, it was manageable. According to the information provided by the White Full-Moon Pendant, once he reached Fourth-Layer Space, opening a spatial passage would become several times more difficult, and transfers could not be made in quick succession. Each consecutive transfer from a higher-level space to a lower-level one would cost more than ten times as much as the last.

The Mystic Realm's nature—easy to enter, difficult to leave—was on full display in this respect.

After giving it some thought, Green decided that, to test how safe it was, he would open a passage to Yellow Sand Space and give it a try first.
