At the edge of the Plain, the Errant Lifeforms moved quickly. Their survival depended on it.
After a series of selections, three stood out. All three were exceptionally good at hiding. They were not powerful, but thanks to their innate gifts, even a Sixth-Level Lifeform would struggle to detect them if they chose to hide.
With the Treants and Fairies Green had created on the Plain, these three could venture deeper toward its center and investigate whether anything had gone wrong.
On the plant-covered Plain, three figures crept forward.
They looked around with every step, afraid of making the slightest disturbance.
One was an ape with golden fur. Another wore a dark red robe and had a pale face and two fangs protruding from his mouth, like a vampire. The third was a short, exceedingly thin Dwarf with huge ears, green skin, and pitch-black eyes.
"Beiyinsu! Are you sure your ability works? We're not invisible, and nothing's concealing our presence. It's hard to trust an ability that looks like this!"
The golden-furred ape scratched at his ears and cheeks as he spoke to the Dwarf beside him, anxiety and doubt on his face.
The Dwarf's expression darkened at once. He shot the ape an impatient glance, but finally explained.
"Relax, Manstan! My ability creates a small field that makes us less noticeable. We may look the same, but to powerful lifeforms, we're worth less attention than a flea. As long as we don't make a racket and arouse their suspicion, nothing will go wrong!"
The Dwarf paused and looked at the ape and the vampire.
"What about you two? I haven't seen either of you use your abilities. If you hadn't passed the selection and won the approval of the powerful lifeforms in the city, I wouldn't have teamed up
