Seven hours later.
Green, who had been flying over the sea, stopped.
He could feel the quasi-mental-power fluctuations filling the air. As if something had stirred them, they began to surge wildly, crashing into one another again and again.
From that moment on, the impact of the Quasi-Mental-Power Fluctuations grew abruptly stronger, seeming to try to assimilate Green into a creature of the Dream World.
On a grand scale, Green finally witnessed the strangeness of the Dream World.
The surrounding world seemed to seize up. One spot of light after another appeared, their colors arranged in a grid. They trembled at incredible speed, expanding wildly as the entire world began to break apart like a glitching television.
The whole world was covered in those square patches of light. Green released the power of Immortal Particles and surrounded himself with it, anchoring the space around him so it would not be eroded. When the chaotic Quasi-Mental-Power Fluctuations encountered the power released by the Immortal Particles, they fled at once, like cats at the sight of mice.
Wherever the radiance of the Immortal Particles reached, the surrounding spacetime remained untouched by the patches of light.
But to keep a low profile, Green kept the radiance of the Immortal Particles confined to the space around him, without letting it spread too far.
After more than ten minutes, the Quasi-Mental-Power Fluctuations that had been colliding with one another subsided, and the patches of light gradually faded.
But as they disappeared, the surrounding environment had already undergone a complete transformation.
The environment had become unbearably hot. Terrifying heat engulfed the entire world, making it impossible for ordinary life to survive.
Three enormous suns hung in the sky.
One of them had no fixed shape at all. It flowed across the sky, like a writhing maggot.
