"Carry on. I'm going to rest first!" Green waved, signaling the maid beside him to lead the way. Guided by the maid, Green left the banquet at once.

The moment Green left the hall, everyone at the banquet turned their eyes toward Alicia. But the first to act was the woman Alicia had warned earlier. She threw her arms around Alicia and burst into tears.

"It's all right now, Mother." Alicia turned and hugged her as well, speaking softly.

Duke Rien's face was gloomy. His daughter's defiance was hardly something to be proud of; in this aristocratic society, it could only be called a failure in his upbringing. However, with Green present, he could not make any move. He even had to improve Alicia's treatment within the castle.

Among the other people at the banquet, some wore jealous expressions, while others looked envious. The myriad faces of humanity were displayed in vivid detail.

The duke rose and slapped the table. After sweeping his gaze around the room, he glared viciously at Alicia, then left the banquet in fury.

Alicia paid no attention to her father's gaze. Her duke father had always regarded her as nothing more than a tool; there was no familial affection between them at all.

The banquet dispersed amid a strange atmosphere.

In the castle's guest room, Green was adjusting his condition and preparing to enter meditation. He was already very close to meeting the Mental Power advancement requirement of 28 for a First-Class Apprentice. Green intended to reach the First-Class Apprentice rank before returning to the Academy.

The days passed one after another in the castle. After staying there for ten days, Green went to the duke and asked him to build him a residence beside the Darknight Forest.

All Wizards were sources of radiation. Staying
