Ch. 921Reaching Chaos

Green chose to investigate the Origin River, where the Great Destruction was accelerating and competing factions of Ninth-Level Lives were scrambling to preserve their interests. After surveying the chaotic situation, he decided not to enter the conflict.

  • Green weighed studying lower-level Voids against the dangers of exploring an Origin-Level Void, then chose to visit the Origin River and witness its Great Destruction.
  • At the Origin River, Ninth-Level Lives gathered as black spots spread rapidly through the withering waters and the Void’s destruction neared its end.
  • A Jackalman and a Crocodileman lamented the Alchemy Empire’s impending collapse and resolved to carry Alchemy’s inheritance into the next Era.
  • Other factions discussed the weakening Hall of Gods, the True Spirit System, Void Behemoths, and Void Guardians, with some deciding to wait while others entered the Origin River to seek Alchemy knowledge.
  • Green reviewed intercepted information about the factions’ infighting and decided the Origin River was too chaotic to enter.

Ch. 922Witnessing the Escape

Green observed the Origin River as it reached its Great End, then witnessed a powerful Ninth-Level Life escape from it. The escape left the Void Will injured, while the escaped being defied it from Hyperspace.

  • Green studied the Origin River's power and gathered information despite interference from Hyperspace.
  • A being radiating Void Omnipotent Level power burst through the Spacetime Barrier, and Green scanned its abilities.
  • The black mist receded to reveal a Black Dragon formed from countless Black Hollows, which Green deduced had arisen from Degraded Void Force, Law Force, and remnants of powerful things.
  • The Black Dragon shrank into a muscular man marked with black patterns and defiantly faced the Origin River.
  • The enraged Void Will appeared above the river but, unable to reach the escaped being, withdrew into the Origin River after sustaining grievous injuries.

Ch. 923Trade Knowledge

Green approached Baro, a newly arrived Ninth-Level Life, and exchanged information with him in hyperspace. After learning what Baro needed to strengthen his new body, Green traded him Law Crystals for knowledge and revealed that he could produce more with ease.

  • Green noticed that the unknown Ninth-Level Life seemed unfamiliar with hyperspace and flew over to meet him.
  • Baro mistook Green's overwhelming strength for that of an ancient monster and agreed to trade information with him.
  • Green and Baro exchanged knowledge about hyperspace, and Green learned that the Origin River tightly constrained the use of time.
  • Green offered Baro a Flame Law Crystal in exchange for knowledge about Alchemy and the True Spirit System.
  • Baro accepted the crystal, then traded Green more advanced knowledge for another Law Crystal.
  • Green produced yet another Law Crystal, astonishing Baro with how readily he could make them.

Ch. 924The Expanding Knowledge Base

Green traded Law Crystals and other resources for knowledge from Ninth-Level Lives, greatly expanding the Chip’s database and gaining 80% control of his Omnipotent Domain. After the trading ended, he turned his attention to gathering information about the Origin River and Origin-Level Voids.

  • Green ended his trade with Baro, gave him a rune for future contact, and watched him leave for the Eternity Gathering Place.
  • Green drew the attention of the Ninth-Level Lives by displaying his Law Crystals and inviting them to trade knowledge for resources.
  • Ninth-Level Lives rushed to trade with Green, who used Mental Power links and the Chip to collect and sort their knowledge.
  • Over seven days, Green traded with many Ninth-Level Lives, and his database expanded enough to give him 80% of his Omnipotent Domain’s power.
  • Green examined the weakened spacetime barrier around the Origin River to learn more about Origin-Level Voids.

Ch. 925The Time of Destruction

As the Origin River neared its end, Green watched the remaining civilizations fall to Void Force and gathered knowledge from Ninth-Level Life. When the True Spirit System’s Main World collapsed, he extracted its vast memories and learned how its people advanced and restored their True Spirits through reincarnation.

  • Green traded Soul Stones for knowledge from Ninth-Level Life for nearly 120 Eras, then asked them to return after the Great End so he could gather more information.
  • Thirty thousand years later, Green saw that the True Spirit System’s Main World was the last surviving point of light in the Origin River.
  • Three thousand years later, cracks spread across the Main World, and Void Force swallowed it after it shattered.
  • Green shielded himself from Void Force and extracted the memories exposed by the world’s destruction.
  • Green learned that the True Spirit System’s people advanced True Spirits through reincarnation and that powerful True Spirits could return from fragments, memories, or objects.

Ch. 926No One Breaks Through

Green observed Half-Ninth-Level Lives struggle against Void Force and learned how their souls and wills could fail during the endless passage of time. After the True Spirit King and the other survivors perished, Creation Force filled the Origin River Void, and Ninth-Level Lives prepared for the birth of a new Void.

  • Green watched Half-Ninth-Level Lives lose their sense of time, abandon resistance, and perish in Void Hollows as their souls and wills eroded.
  • Ninth-Level Lives discussed the slim chances of a breakthrough, and the True Spirit King eventually faded into the Void Hollows.
  • Creation Force poured into the hollows after the last life died, forming the Origin River Void into a sphere in Hyperspace.
  • Green gathered the sphere's fluctuations and anticipated that Creation Force would eventually create a new Origin River Void.
  • Ninth-Level Lives who hoped to enter the new Void prepared Spacetime treasures, while weaker or powerless lives watched from the sidelines.

Ch. 927Not

Green decided to enter the Origin River Void with an Avatar to acquire the knowledge he lacked, and began slowly splitting off part of his soul to create one. Meanwhile, a group of vicious Ninth-Level Lives gathered and headed toward the Origin River Void, unaware of Green’s strength and intent on exploiting him.

  • Green weighed entering the Origin River Void against infiltrating another Origin-Level Void and chose the Origin River.
  • Green planned to use an Avatar made from a soul fragment, keeping his main body and Three Avatars safe from the Void’s power-draining effects.
  • Green instructed his Chip to begin dividing his soul slowly so he could form an almost perfect Avatar over the next three or four Eras.
  • A group of vicious Ninth-Level Lives heard about Green and flew toward the Origin River Void, believing he could not keep them suppressed indefinitely.

Ch. 928Soul, True Spirit Creation

Green completed a Soul Fragment by gathering Soul Shards over three thousand years, then prepared to split True Spirit Shards to give it a True Spirit. His main body began the dangerous task while continuing to study a Lower Void, whose Void Will could only watch helplessly.

  • Green's soul shed tiny Soul Shards that gathered into a Soul Fragment, while Chip enhanced its summoning and scanning abilities.
  • After three thousand years, Green stopped collecting Soul Shards because his soul had reached its limit and the Fragment lacked a True Spirit.
  • Green decided that his main body would split off True Spirit Shards, since his avatars possessed too little True Spirit and the process was dangerous.
  • Green's main body studied the Spacetime Rules of a yellow Lower Void, while its helpless Void Will watched him explore the nature of the Void.

Ch. 929The Enemy?

Green studied a Lower Void whose parallel worlds devoured one another, then split his attention between dividing his True Spirit and examining the Origin River Void’s Creation Force. When dozens of Ninth-Level Lives ambushed him in Hyperspace, he detected them early and suppressed the group with his aura.

  • Green concluded that collisions between Laws caused Spacetime to split into unpredictable parallel worlds, whose mutual destruction preserved the Lower Void’s potential but led to periodic Great Destructions.
  • Green shifted most of his attention to his true body and began slowly splitting off True Spirit Shards while the yellow-glowing Void sealed itself more tightly.
  • Green examined the Origin River Void’s unclaimed Creation Force but found that its state of Completion prevented him from gathering information.
  • Green sensed malice in Hyperspace, ordered Chip to scan, and detected dozens of concealed Ninth-Level Lives beginning to encircle him.
  • Green unleashed his aura, forced the attackers into the open, and immobilized them; the group panicked at the gap between his power and theirs.

Ch. 930Instant Annihilation, Excellent Experimental Material

Green annihilated the power of dozens of Ninth-Level Life beings who had planned to capture him, then took them away as experimental subjects. He began torturous experiments to study their souls and wills, while the beings near the Origin River Void speculated about his history.

  • Green used a Ritual Formation and a beam of white flame to disintegrate the power of the Ninth-Level Life beings who had targeted him, leaving their undying Essence behind.
  • Green learned that the group had intended to capture him and force him to obtain resources, then sealed the beings inside a Crystal Orb and left the Origin River Void.
  • The Ninth-Level Life beings who witnessed Green's power discussed how strong he was and guessed when he had become a Ninth-Level Life being.
  • Green created a laboratory in Hyperspace and subjected the captured beings to painful experiments, including drilling into Ian Morris von Leon's skull.
  • Green used the experiments to stimulate the subjects' souls and wills, rapidly improving his understanding of them.

Ch. 931Research, Preliminary Results

Seven million years later, Green tested whether extreme energy and bodily stimulation could interfere with a Ninth-Level Life’s immortal soul and will. The subject’s body exploded when his soul and will entered a protective slumber, leaving Green to conclude that he needed another line of research.

  • Green began his 3,885th experiment to test whether neural stimulation could interfere with a Ninth-Level Life through the body.
  • Green increased the energy flowing into the subject, causing severe bodily damage that the subject’s immense Life Force repeatedly healed.
  • Green infused the subject with extreme energies, further deforming his body until his soul and will stopped reacting and fell into slumber.
  • The subject’s body swelled and exploded, but a rune barrier contained the blast.
  • Green reviewed the results and concluded that the experiment confirmed earlier findings, so he would need to pursue another line of research.

Ch. 932Checking Miscellaneous Data

Green sealed and scattered the sleeping Ninth-Level Lives, adding safeguards to keep them contained for a long time. He then began sorting his miscellaneous research data to compare Ninth-Level Lives with ordinary lifeforms, a task he expected to last at least two Eras.

  • Green split the Crystal Orb into smaller orbs and reinforced their Seals, using the Chip to estimate that the Ninth-Level Lives would remain contained for about a hundred Eras.
  • Green sent the Crystal Orbs in different directions through Hyperspace so the Ninth-Level Lives would be separated even if they escaped their Seals.
  • Green equipped the Crystal Orbs with detection mechanisms and Law Fragments to draw the attention of Mid-to-Low Void Wills and make them help preserve the Seals.
  • Green watched the Crystal Orbs disappear, then sat at the laboratory instruments and began sorting miscellaneous data from his experiments.
  • Green planned to compare the organized data with records on ordinary lifeforms, expecting the work to take at least two Eras.

Ch. 933Subjective World

Green analyzed the relationship between Ninth-Level Life, Hyperspace, and the Void, concluding that Ninth-Level Life belonged to the Subjective Domain and that they were being steered toward seeking power in the Objective Domain. He turned to studying Hyperspace through subjective powers and began using the Self-Emotion Sealing Art to test whether his emotions could affect it.

  • Green reviewed his model of Ninth-Level Life and concluded that their will let them shift into the Subjective Domain while extending power into the Objective Domain.
  • Green reasoned that Ninth-Level Life could grow by expanding their Subjective Domain power, and that only Subjective Domain power could kill them.
  • Green suspected an invisible influence was guiding Ninth-Level Life to seek power in the Objective Domain instead of studying their own nature.
  • Green decided to investigate Hyperspace and listed consciousness, emotions, Dreams, memories, sensations, and fantasies as subjective powers to test.
  • Green began using the Self-Emotion Sealing Art to accumulate and release his emotions in an attempt to affect Hyperspace.

Ch. 934Sealing Complete, Preparations

Green completed a low-intensity Emotional Self-Sealing Art and concluded that his next research goal was to reach Subjective Domain Power in Hyperspace. After three years of searching for ways to experience many worlds, he devised a plan to use Hive-Mind Avatars to gather knowledge and memories.

  • Green sealed 10% of his emotions with a multicolored Möbius Ring, and the Chip estimated that reaching the standard emotional threshold would take ten Eras.
  • Green decided to investigate reaching Subjective Domain Power in Hyperspace and recognized that he might need to enter the Origin River to gain Total Sight and Omniscience.
  • Green ordered the Chip to search for Avatar methods that could let him experience many worlds at once, but found the traditional options unsuitable.
  • After three years, Green realized that memories from beings closely connected to him could provide the knowledge and experience needed to nurture Total Sight.
  • Green planned to use the Symbiote Avatar and Abyssal Moss to create Hive-Mind Avatars that would spread through worlds and relay the memories of Hive-Mind Life.

Ch. 935The Fourth Clone Was Complete; He Went to Wait

Green completed the Fourth Clone by preparing an adaptable body and fusing a Soul Fragment with a True Spirit Fragment. He sent the clone toward the Origin River Void and arrived nearby to study its unstable Creation Force as its next evolution approached.

  • Green entered genetic frameworks for various lifeforms into his blood to create a body that could adapt to the Origin River Void.
  • Ten thousand years later, Green fused his Soul Fragment with his True Spirit Fragment and joined them with the clone's body in the incubation pod.
  • Green sent the Fourth Clone into his body and traveled toward the Origin River Void while his true body remained asleep in Hyperspace.
  • Green arrived behind the gathered Ninth-Level Lifeforms and began collecting data on the Origin Force collapsing from its Completion state.

Ch. 936Infiltration

Green observed the Ninth-Level Lifeforms gathering around the Origin River Void and learned how they were preparing to enter it. As the Origin River was reborn, he secretly sent an Avatar through its Spacetime Barrier and withdrew while it began its disguise as a native lifeform.

  • Green gathered information from the gambling crowd and learned that the Ninth-Level Lifeforms preparing to enter the Origin River fell into three groups with different levels of commitment.
  • The Origin River’s Creation Force collapsed, then divided and evolved into four tributaries, incorporating elements derived from knowledge taken from Ninth-Level Lifeforms whose power had been wiped clean.
  • Ninth-Level Lifeforms concealed by barriers moved toward the Origin River as its waters began to flow.
  • Green sent a fleshball Avatar through the Origin River’s Spacetime Barrier using his understanding of the Spacetime Rule.
  • Green retreated while the Avatar began reading information inside the Origin River Void, with plans to settle in a High-Grade World and eventually receive his will.

Ch. 937Discovering the Difference

Green analyzed a brief disturbance caused by Creation Force in Hyperspace and discovered microscopic Black Hollows linked to the Subjective Domain. He decided to study the same phenomenon in Mid-to-Low Voids and assigned the Chip to manage his Origin River Avatar while he focused on the research.

  • Green reviewed the instant Creation Force shattered and concluded that power from the Objective Domain had slightly warped Hyperspace.
  • Green ordered the Chip to scan the disturbance down to the Ultimate Fundamental Particle Layer, where it detected an unknown force field and energy in the Origin River Void.
  • Green examined microscopic Black Hollows that merged with Original Fundamental Particles, but the unknown force field prevented the Chip from recording what happened during fusion.
  • Green reasoned that the birth and destruction of Mid-to-Low Voids could reveal the same interaction between Creation Force and Hyperspace.
  • Green told the Chip to manage his Origin River Avatar so he could devote his attention to studying the unknown power, then flew toward his main body.

Ch. 938Research, Failure

Green created and repeatedly studied Low-Level Voids to investigate the Black Hollow and its connection to Hyperspace, confirming that newly born Voids fused with Hyperspace and revealed part of its nature. After nearly a thousand cycles, he still could not capture the Black Hollow for more than an instant, leaving his research unresolved.

  • Green created a Low-Level Void and used extensive scans to detect its faint interaction with Hyperspace as it formed and evolved.
  • Green concluded that newly born Voids fused with Hyperspace, showing that the boundary between the Objective Domain and Subjective Domain could be crossed.
  • Green recorded data across repeated Void evolutions, but his 120th interference experiment failed to capture the unknown power.
  • Green drove the near-dead Void into its final end and reclaimed the Creation Force that emerged from it.
  • Green recalled that the Black Hollow repelled most things, became Pure Nothingness when touched by Void Force, and escaped Creation Force after only an instant.

Ch. 939Completion, Umbilical Cord

Green realized he needed Omniscience of Sight and Omniscience to capture the Black Hollow, so he transferred his primary will to his Origin River clone. He took control of the immobile clone and discovered it was an enormous Meat Cocoon connected to its surroundings by blood-red umbilical cords.

  • Green concluded that his lack of Omniscience of Sight and Omniscience was preventing him from capturing the Black Hollow.
  • Green ordered the Chip to connect him to his Origin River clone and transfer his primary will through the Spacetime Barrier.
  • Green's consciousness arrived in the clone and took control of its body and soul.
  • Green discovered that the clone had fused with a world and produced insect-like lifeforms to explore other worlds.
  • Green evolved eyes for the clone and saw that it was a blood-red Meat Cocoon supplied by enormous tubes that served as umbilical cords.

Ch. 940Solving the Problem

Green discovered that a Ninth-Level Life’s battle with the Void Will had crippled the High-Grade World, which had mistaken the Meatball Clone for its only surviving life and begun nurturing it. When Green tried to accelerate his birth, he found the world lacked enough energy to complete his gestation, leaving him to seek a solution.

  • Green reviewed the Meatball Clone’s memories and learned that a Ninth-Level Life from Hyperspace had entered the High-Grade World and fought the Void Will.
  • Green learned that the battle damaged the world’s laws, destroyed its World Will, and left it unable to give birth to life normally.
  • The High-Grade World’s remaining instinct mistook the Meatball Clone for its sole surviving life and linked its Essence to the Clone, nurturing it while it sent special lives to connected worlds to gather knowledge.
  • Green decided to be born before deciding what to do next and gathered energy throughout the Meat Cocoon.
  • Green sensed that the world could not provide enough energy, discovered that its energy had leaked into the Void, and stopped accelerating his birth to avoid being born with congenital weakness.
