The improvement in my soul aptitude has boosted my intelligence considerably again.
In Dago's understanding, "intelligence" was not entirely the same as "wisdom." It represented more his capacity to learn and understand, his ability to absorb and digest new knowledge, the frequency of his flashes of inspiration, and so on.
When he was a First-Ring Wizard, he had taken five bottles of Solomon's Caress, greatly increasing his intelligence.
With the aid of Winter's Stillness, his capacity for learning and thought might not have been unrivaled among his peers, but few wizards of the same rank could match him.
Now, Dago's intelligence had risen another substantial notch.
He felt that his brain was now almost as active as it had been when he activated Winter's Stillness before.
This improvement was an enormous help to Dago. It meant he could greatly shorten the time needed to decipher the inheritance runes within Isidore's Law Wielder Armlet, and optimize and upgrade his own spell system with greater ease.
After two purifications of his mental power, and with his soul now made whole, Dago's mental power was truly dozens of times stronger than that of wizards at the same level.
Judging by his understanding of Miracle-Rank Wizards, Dago estimated that the sheer quantity of his mental power was already on par with that of an ordinary Fourth-Circle Wizard-
He simply could not imbue his released mental power with elemental properties the way a Fourth-Ring Miracle wizard could.
In this respect, even Michael, who had once entered the Wizarding Forbidden Zone and condensed his tenth Soul Crystal, could not compare.
And I still have room to improve.
*If I can raise the Gray Sun Meditation Method's progress to at least two more traits while I'm a Third-Ring Wizard, purifying my mental power a third time, then
