Undine was among ten high-ranking wizards who traveled from the Central Region to the south to establish an independent “kingdom of truth.” Their central headquarters assigned them to investigate the Elder Mirror Forest and seek the legendary Void Mirror; after a century of failure, death, and disappearance, only seven of the original tower masters remained. She considers the southern mission an exploitative, effectively disposable assignment from the Omnipotent Ring headquarters. 218
