Background / History

Fu Hua was born as Hua and trained in martial arts under her father before being sent to study in another city. During the Third Honkai Outbreak, she saved a classmate from zombie-like creatures and became friends with Himeko, who later introduced her to Flame-Chasing Moth. Fu Hua joined its fifth squad as MSA-209. 168

Himeko was later corrupted by Honkai and became a Herrscher. Although Kevin Kaslana killed her, Fu Hua—then the fifth squad's sole survivor—was ostracized as an alleged accomplice. 168

During a test of the mass-produced Key of Domination, Fu Hua encountered the unreported Emperor-class Honkai Beast Ganesha. The Meta-Morph agent within her activated, giving her wing-like primordial wings; the damaged Divine Key reshaped into the Grip of the Great Void. Her victory led to her designation as fusion warrior CM-014. 168

She participated in Dr. Mei's Divine Sound experiment and acquired the Feather of the Dust. Fu Hua fought alongside Kevin against the Eleventh Herrscher, used Feather of the Dust to preserve a base's consciousnesses during the Twelfth Honkai Outbreak, and joined the failed final battle against the Herrscher of Finality on the moon. 168

Five thousand years later, Fu Hua became Chi Yuan, guardian of the Divine Land. With Cang Xuan and Dan Zhu, she conducted the Kindling Project to preserve knowledge and culture for the new civilization. After the project failed and both twins died in the Chi You disaster, Fu Hua continued traveling with the Book of Cang Xuan, protecting the Divine Land. 168

Her immortality preserved an ever-growing accumulation of memories, gradually eroding her consciousness. Though Feather of the Dust could store and erase those memories, Fu Hua resisted using it because she did not wish to forget her friends. 141

Fu Hua later burned Feather of the Dust and used the Divine Sword of Taixu against Sirin during the Second Honkai Outbreak. The attack failed, and the loss of power cost her significant memories. She subsequently infiltrated St. Freya Academy as a student. 168

In Luo Mio's early life, Fu Hua resided within a Feather of the Dust located deep in his soul, retaining her complete memories apart from the Divine Key's main body. She guided his cultivation and helped suppress the unstable Honkai Energy in his body. 3 4

Fu Hua is a gray-haired, blue-eyed woman whose resemblance to Luo Mio is striking enough that others mistake her for his older sister. In combat, her calm presence and flowing sword style give her an ethereal, immortal-like bearing. 140 158 191

Her immense age and losses led her to suppress her emotions and devote herself to her guardian's mission. Despite this reserve, she remains deeply attached to her friends and refuses to discard memories of them merely to ease the burden on her mind. 141 168

Around Luo Mio and the Book of Cang Xuan, Fu Hua shows a warmer side. She openly calls Luo Mio her proudest disciple, is visibly moved by Cang Xuan's return, and gradually becomes more welcoming toward Luo Mio's companions. 109 170 189
