Background / History

Huo Yuhao was known ten thousand years earlier as Ice Douluo, the founder of the Spirit Pagoda and creator of the Soul Spirit system. He later ascended to the Divine Realm as the God of Emotions; his seven great Soul Spirits became central to the legends surrounding him. 35 44 72

After being injured by the Golden Dragon King and cast into the mortal world, he awakens in an ice cave stripped of his godhood, with damaged meridians, a curse, and a volatile storm in his soul. Drawing upon his own knowledge and Electrolux’s teachings, he constructs a soul seal to contain the internal threats and begins recovering. 4

His return brings him back into contact with Di Tian and the ferocious beasts of the Star Dou Great Forest. Bound by their old pact and their shared concern over the Spirit Pagoda’s corruption, he agrees to investigate the organization while teaching the soul beasts about human society, cultivation, healing, and soul guidance technology. 10 12
