Jie Jian defeated Satoru Gojo and several ancient sorcerers in a series of fights, then sparred with Yuki Tsukumo. As Jie Jian prepared to leave the next day, Yuki offered to use her Black Hole technique as a final gift.

• Jie Jian killed Sukuna by completing the challenge with Angel, then chose to stay seven more days and challenged Satoru Gojo to a fight.
• Jie Jian defeated Gojo by breaking Infinite Void with a lightning strike, then used island charges, seawater, and oxygen poisoning to push the battle to its final stages.
• Jie Jian awakened Mighty Thunder Altar while Gojo prepared another Infinite Void, and his domain defeated Gojo before Jie Jian revived him with Inverse.
• Jie Jian fought Hajime Kashimo, defeated him with Mighty Thunder Altar, and revived him in a petite girl’s body.
• Jie Jian knocked down Ryu Ishigori with Black Flashes, then agreed to spar with Yuki Tsukumo and faced the power of her Star Rage technique.
• Jie Jian and Yuki Tsukumo continued their spar, with Yuki confronting his disregard for his own life and Jie Jian severely injuring her with lightning.
• Yuki Tsukumo revealed that she had a Black Hole technique intended for Kenjaku, and, with Gojo offering to protect them, agreed to use it as a parting gift before Jie Jian left.

Jie Jian sharpened his Vector Manipulation, helped Fumihiko Takaba reclaim his purpose in comedy, and joined the fight against Sukuna after Sukuna took over Megumi Fushiguro’s body. After helping unseal Satoru Gojo, Jie Jian went ahead to confront Sukuna as the promised duel approached.

• Jie Jian destroyed Yuki Tsukumo’s black hole with Jie Jian’s Thunder Beast and Thunder Breath, then sealed the challenge rather than submitting its result so he could face Ten Shadows Sukuna.
• Jie Jian tested Vector Manipulation in the Culling Game, fought an Ancient Sorcerer, and entered Tokyo No. 1 Colony with Hana Kurusu’s help.
• Jie Jian defeated Hiromi Higuruma’s Deadly Sentencing by presenting no crimes, then met Fumihiko Takaba and helped him rediscover his reason for becoming a comedian.
• Takaba’s technique improved Jie Jian’s brain, making Vector Manipulation easier to use, and Jie Jian tested the ability against Reggie Star’s group before training in seclusion.
• Sukuna took over Megumi Fushiguro’s body, and Jie Jian intervened when Sukuna attacked Hana Kurusu, then fought alongside Yuji Itadori and Maki Zenin as Sukuna escaped with Uraume.
• Yuji persuaded Angel to help unseal Satoru Gojo, and Gojo returned before announcing that he would fight Sukuna on December 24th.
• As the sorcerers watched Sukuna approach Gojo in Shinjuku, Jie Jian appeared in Sukuna’s path and told him to make the first move.

Jie Jian defeated Sukuna with his elemental techniques, and the Culling Game ended as the survivors dealt with the aftermath. After returning to his world and then visiting Jujutsu High again, Jie Jian accepted a new challenge that sent him back before the Shinjuku Showdown in Kasumi Miwa’s body.

• Jie Jian revealed Vector Manipulation and fought Sukuna while Gojo’s Infinite Void repeatedly clashed with Malevolent Shrine, then took over the battle alone.
• Jie Jian explained that his techniques depended on outside power, but revealed Undying Thunder and Elementalization, surviving Sukuna’s attacks and destroying Agito and Mahoraga.
• Jie Jian opened Mighty Thunder Altar, but Sukuna destroyed it with Malevolent Shrine before Jie Jian used his elemental brain and Reverse Cursed Technique to recover.
• Jie Jian shattered Sukuna’s domain and pierced his chest with lightning, while Gojo stopped Uraume and Yuta captured Kenjaku.
• Yuji used five Black Flashes to separate Sukuna from Fushiguro, Sukuna and Uraume died, and Jujutsu High ended the Culling Game.
• Jie Jian returned to his world, then came back to the Jujutsu world and rejoined Gojo and the others at Jujutsu High.
• Kasumi Miwa dreamed she had defeated Kenjaku, Gojo, and Sukuna, then woke to discover she had returned to a month before the Shinjuku battle.
• Jie Jian accepted a challenge as Kasumi Miwa, took control of her body, and alarmed her by announcing he would spend her money on pachinko.

Kasumi Miwa learned that her rebirth had been meant to prepare her to defeat Sukuna, then trained with Jie Jian’s help while Gojo fought Sukuna. As Gojo and Sukuna weakened, Miwa entered the battlefield and cut off one of Sukuna’s arms.

• Kasumi Miwa learned from Jie Jian that her wish to fight Sukuna had brought her back to before the Shinjuku Showdown, and she agreed to train for the battle.
• Jie Jian revealed Miwa’s Future Sight to Gojo and the other sorcerers, then Miwa sparred with Kashimo using a guardless weapon and Jie Jian’s cursed energy.
• Jie Jian defeated Kashimo with an adapted Simple Domain and Thunderclap and Flash, then taught Miwa how Binding Vows could strengthen her techniques.
• Miwa trained with Jie Jian and Kusakabe, mastered Thunderclap and Flash, and tried unsuccessfully to learn how to land Black Flash before Gojo’s duel with Sukuna.
• Gojo fought Sukuna in Shinjuku, survived a Spatial Slash through his height-increasing insoles, and continued battling after Sukuna transformed into his original four-armed form.
• As Gojo and Sukuna weakened, Jie Jian urged the sorcerers to intervene, and Miwa was chosen as the vanguard while Yuta remained committed to pursuing Kenjaku.
• Ui Ui teleported Miwa to the battlefield, where she activated Simple Domain and used Thunderclap and Flash to rush past Sukuna and cut off one of his arms.
