What Does It Mean to Be a Double Agent?!

"Hey, why are you here?"

Ronawa lay on the sofa, playing with her phone, her two fair, slender legs propped up.

Just then, Suguru Geto suddenly appeared.

He gave Ronawa quite a scare.

That was far too rude. How could he just barge in whenever he wanted?

At the very least, he should have said hello and asked first.

Obviously, Suguru Geto was not that polite.

"I came to fulfill my promise and help you grow."

"Fine, I've been waiting forever!"

Since she had already agreed to Satoru Gojo's proposal and become a double agent,

Ronawa decided she might as well go have some fun with Suguru Geto.

After all, she was certain that, at least for now, Suguru Geto had no intention of killing her.

Even taking the worst-case scenario into account, if Suguru Geto really did decide to make a move against her now, she was not afraid.

She still could not beat him for the time being.

But escaping would not be a problem.

As for her growth rate...

She quickly followed Suguru Geto out, though she had no idea what he intended to show her.

Under Suguru Geto's lead,

Ronawa eventually arrived with him at a large compound in the suburbs.

From the outside, nothing seemed particularly unusual.

But once they entered, the situation became obvious.

Looking at the large crowd of cultists gathered there, dressed in matching clothes and seated in neat rows,

Ronawa immediately guessed that, barring any surprises,

this was probably the gathering place of the Time Vessel Association under Suguru Geto's control.

The Time Vessel Association was a cult with a long history.

Its origins could even be traced back to the Heian Era.

Throughout the history of Jujutsu Society, this cult had surfaced many times.

It had caused numerous notorious and heinous incidents.

The most recent one was probably ten years ago, when the Time Vessel Association hired Toji Fushiguro to ambush and kill Satoru Gojo, as well as murder that generation's Star Plasma Vessel, Riko Amanai.

That incident had ultimately caused Suguru Geto to fall into darkness, turning him into the traitor to jujutsu sorcerers and the utterly vile curse user he was today.

It was also after that incident that Suguru Geto took control of the Time Vessel Association.

He became the current leader of the Time Vessel Association.

Under Suguru Geto's transformation, the Time Vessel Association's doctrine had also changed considerably.

The original Time Vessel Association had been a sect devoted solely to Tengen.

In other words, the Time Vessel Association had been a group of obsessive Tengen fanatics.

The reason its members had wanted to kill Riko Amanai back then was that they did not want her to merge with Tengen and taint Tengen's purity.

But now, after Suguru Geto's revisions,

the Time Vessel Association's ideology was no longer blind devotion to Tengen.

Instead, it had been twisted into the belief that, in accordance with Tengen's ideals, they must transform the world into a pure paradise without humans!

Transform it into a world that would satisfy Tengen.

All Ronawa could say was, when it came to being a con artist,

she was still rather puzzled. If Suguru Geto wanted to run a cult, then he could run a cult.

Why had he brought her here?

However, that question was quickly answered.

"Brothers and sisters! Beloved family of our holy faith!"

Suguru Geto's opening words nearly made Ronawa lose it.

The corners of her mouth desperately wanted to curl upward.

At that moment, Suguru Geto looked like a livestream salesman in her eyes.

But after thinking about it, weren't cults basically the same?

Never mind, then.

"Today, I am delighted and excited to announce something to all of you!"

"Under Tengen's guidance, I have finally found our holy maiden!"

"It is her—Ronawa!"

Before she could voice her objection, Suguru Geto continued, "She is a gift bestowed upon us by Tengen, a goddess born into this world!"

"She will lead us in fulfilling our long-cherished wish, transforming this rotten, filthy world and restoring it to purity!"

"In the near future, she will lead all of us in seizing authority over the entire world!"

Suguru Geto preached to the Time Vessel Association's followers in a fervent tone.

Those believers frantically shouted Ronawa's name.

They repeatedly bowed in worship before Ronawa.

This scene was truly difficult for Ronawa to handle.

Oh no, I became the leader of a cult.

And this stupid cult's name was not lucky, either.

Time Vessel? More like prison time.

Would she end up singing about life behind bars someday?

Though she was somewhat worried, Ronawa also felt a strange sense of satisfaction.

Suguru Geto saw all of it.

Watching Ronawa go from initial discomfort, to calmly accepting the believers' worship, to eventually even enjoying it somewhat,

Suguru Geto knew that Ronawa had been born to lead a cult.

And with this connection established,

he would be able to win Ronawa over more effectively and make her a better helper in his plans.

Suguru Geto had brought Ronawa to the Time Vessel Association's base.

Of course, it was not solely to make Ronawa the Time Vessel Association's holy maiden.

More importantly, he needed Ronawa to witness humanity's ugliness.

So they soon moved on to the next event.

Under Suguru Geto's lead, he and Ronawa went underground beneath the base.

The area had actually been excavated into a vast underground space.

An altar had also been built there.

At the very center of the altar stood a statue of Tengen.

It had to be said, the place had a very cult-like atmosphere.

It perfectly matched Ronawa's stereotype of a cult organization.

And soon, something even more in line with Ronawa's stereotype of cults happened.

A sacrifice!

As Suguru Geto clapped his hands, more than a dozen unfortunate people were brought onto the altar.

They had already been scared senseless. It could practically be said that they had been dragged onto the altar.

Soon, Suguru Geto spoke. "These people are the sinners we have found during this period."

"Every one of them has committed unforgivable crimes and deserves death."

"Every one of them is stained with blood and guilty of countless evils."

"And today, under Tengen's watchful gaze, we will punish them for their sins."

"May Tengen cleanse their wicked souls!"

After stirring the believers into another round of fervent cries,

Suguru Geto came to Ronawa's side and led her before the sinners.

Clearly, this time, Ronawa was meant to execute them.

Ronawa hesitated. Was she really going to kill someone?

Suguru Geto saw her hesitation and pointed at one of the men. "His name is E no Tate Yoshihiro. He is a hopeless gambler."

"For the sake of gambling money, he drove his parents to death, caused his wife's death, and even sold his children to wealthy people to be made into live sushi."

"Do you think someone like that does not deserve to die?"

At those words, the hesitation in Ronawa's eyes quickly vanished.

She could tell that Suguru Geto was not lying.

Soon after, Suguru Geto pointed at the next person. "This is Fujiwara Motoki, a deranged madman."

"For the sake of so-called art, he committed a series of inhumane murders."

"Every victim died tragically. Even I find the state of their deaths perverse."

"And yet, under the defense of so-called law, this man was sentenced to only seven years. He even gained many fans and admirers because of it."

"Tell me, should someone like this be allowed to live?"

Ronawa actually laughed at that.

Blood-red cursed energy swiftly appeared, coating her right hand.

Clearly, Ronawa was about to start killing!
