Tengen's barrier techniques are regarded as the strongest in jujutsu society. His barriers encompass Japan, increasing its cursed-energy concentration and contributing to the country's unusually large number of powerful sorcerers and Curse Spirits. Through this network, he is reputed to know nearly everything occurring within Japan, earning the title All-Knowing One. 15 16 79

The being housed within Tomb Star Palace is not Tengen's true body, but an outward manifestation. His actual existence is distributed through the barrier network spanning Japan, making ordinary attacks against an incarnation insufficient to kill him. 79 80
