So she wandered the streets.
She didn't buy much, but she ate her fill.
As night fell, Ronova began to wonder where she would sleep.
She couldn't exactly spend the night on a park bench.
That was when Suguru Geto found her.
"I heard what happened. I didn't expect you to be so ruthless."
"One hundred and twenty-seven Jujutsu Sorcerers dead, including sixteen Grade 1 Jujutsu Sorcerers."
"Even I never had a record that impressive."
Ronova gave him a wry smile.
Did he think I wanted a record that impressive?
I was out of options.
Still, those dead Jujutsu Sorcerers had given Ronova a tremendous amount of Cursed Energy.
And that increase in Cursed Energy was what had finally let her unlock a new Cursed Technique.

If Jujutsu Society's higher-ups hadn't sent so many people, and had instead sent powerful individuals like the Special Grade Sorcerer Yuki Tsukumo,
Ronova wouldn't have handled them nearly so easily.
Using sheer numbers against Ronova was the stupidest move they could have made.
After teasing Ronova, and just before she could get annoyed,
Suguru Geto changed the subject. "If you don't know where to go next, why not come stay at my place?"
Ronova immediately took several steps back.
She couldn't help reading into it. Whenever Suguru Geto said something like that with a smile,
it reminded her of the "educational videos" she'd watched in her previous life.
The setup and the lines were far too similar.
In the end, though, Ronova agreed.
She was afraid of Satoru Gojo, sure. She couldn't beat him.
But Suguru Geto?
Even if she couldn't beat him, escaping would be easy enough.
Getting stronger really does give you confidence!
In a detached house near Minato Ward,
Ronova followed Suguru Geto through the front door.
Hearing them, two voices called out in greeting almost at once.
"Welcome home, Father."
Then two twin high school girls who looked strikingly alike walked into the living room.
When they saw the unfamiliar white-haired girl beside Suguru Geto,
both sisters froze.
Ronova, meanwhile, looked at Suguru Geto as if he were scum.
That bastard. Running a cult wasn't enough for him? He was keeping a pair of twin sisters at home too?
I'm so jealous...
No, I mean, how disgusting!
Suguru Geto rubbed his forehead, which still bore no stitches, at a loss for words.
Then he explained, "They're my adopted daughters, Mimiko Hasaba and Nanako Hasaba."
At his introduction, Ronova remembered who the sisters were.
Mimiko Hasaba and Nanako Hasaba had originally lived in a remote mountain village.
Both their parents were ordinary Jujutsu Sorcerers.
The family had lived a peaceful, happy life
until their parents died in an accident.
After their parents' deaths, the villagers imprisoned and abused the girls.
They claimed the sisters had brought misfortune to the village.
In truth, the sisters' parents had been protecting the village all along.
Later, Suguru Geto came to the village and rescued the sisters.
He killed every villager there.
From then on, Suguru Geto went down a dark path and became a Curse User.
He adopted the sisters and taught them to become Jujutsu Sorcerers too.
The sisters would even take part in his Night Parade of a Hundred Demons.
But their story would end badly.
After Suguru Geto died, they followed Kenjaku, hoping to use him to kill Jujutsu Sorcerers and avenge Geto.
Instead, Kenjaku used them.
Later, they tried to use Sukuna to kill Kenjaku.
Sukuna chopped them both to pieces.
They were tragic villains through and through.
Still, they were both good-looking.
Both were gorgeous high school girls.
The older sister, Mimiko Hasaba, had long, straight black hair and a somewhat melancholy air.
The younger sister, Nanako Hasaba, had yellow hair and a wheat-colored complexion.
She was a classic Japanese gyaru.
For the sake of their looks, Ronova raised a hand and greeted them.
All she got back were two wary looks.
Great. They're jealous too.
Ronova couldn't be bothered with them anymore.
Once Suguru Geto told her which room was hers, she went straight to bed.
So what if they were pretty? She wasn't going to indulge them.
I'm a pretty girl too, you know.
While Ronova slept,
Mimiko Hasaba and Nanako Hasaba went to Suguru Geto and began fishing for information about her.
What they really wanted to know was Ronova's relationship with him.
Suguru Geto didn't know whether to laugh or sigh at their questions.
But he explained anyway. "Ronova is a Cursed Spirit, and her abilities are unusual."
"For now, all you need to know is that she's our ally."
Once the sisters learned that Ronova was only working with Suguru Geto,
they both breathed a sigh of relief.
They asked nothing more, said good night, and returned to their rooms.
Suguru Geto gave a helpless smile, then went back to work.
As a major villain and the leader of the Time Vessel Association,
Suguru Geto was busy.
Every day brought more matters for him to handle than he could count.
The next morning,
a knock on the door woke Ronova.
She opened it with a yawn and found the younger sister, Nanako Hasaba, standing outside.
When Ronova appeared, Nanako said, "Get up. Breakfast is ready."
Then she turned and left.
Ronova didn't mind. She washed her face with cold water to wake herself up,
then went out to eat.
She wasn't going to skip a meal just to be stubborn.
By the time Ronova arrived, the sisters had already started eating.
Suguru Geto came out just then, carrying his own plate.
Ronova hadn't expected Suguru Geto to know how to cook.
And judging by the presentation, he was pretty good at it.
What kind of contrast is this?
After sitting down, Ronova picked up her breakfast and dug in.
As they ate, Suguru Geto said, "I heard about you and Satoru Gojo."
"Two months isn't much time."
"But with your potential, it should be enough."
"Do you need help? I know plenty of people. I could take you to a war zone and let you kill to your heart's content."
As the head of Japan's largest cult,
Suguru Geto had a formidable network of connections.
He even maintained close ties with some internationally prominent figures.
So when he said he could send Ronova to a war zone to kill,
he wasn't joking.
If Ronova agreed, Suguru Geto could send her to the Middle East, Africa, or somewhere else to start slaughtering.
As long as she killed enough, she would be sure to beat Satoru Gojo in two months.
