How Dare You Interrupt My Date During the Exam

Hinata generously showed Naruto the entire contents of her test paper, letting him take it all in at a glance.

Blushing, Hinata thought, Naruto is looking at my... test paper... I can be of help too...

"Hinata," Naruto said softly. "Your handwriting is so beautiful."

Hinata's mind felt as though it had been struck by lightning. She became flustered, her petite body shrinking back slightly as she did not know how to respond to Naruto, but the joy on her face was impossible to hide.

"Ooh." Naruto lowered his voice further. "Hinata, you can even solve questions this difficult. You're really amazing."

Hinata's heart pounded harder and harder. It felt as if her brain were continuously heating up, as though steam might rise from the top of her head at any moment.

"I have the Byakugan," Hinata said in an extremely soft voice. "So this is all very easy for me."

"If you can stay by my side in the future, your Byakugan will be a tremendous help to me."

"Courting death!" A kunai tore through the air, slicing straight past Naruto's cheek before embedding itself in the desk of the person behind him.

"You cheated five times. All ten points have been deducted. Your entire team is out," the Chunin proctor said with a contemptuous look.

The person seated behind Naruto stood up indignantly and shouted, "What evidence do you have that I cheated five times?!"

A Chunin proctor leaped over, stepped onto the desk, and pressed a kunai to his throat. "However many times I say you cheated, that's how many times you cheated. You have no right to question me. Get out!"

Naruto's expression darkened. He had just been on a date with Hinata, only for some Chunin proctor to interrupt them for no reason. How could he not be angry?

"Can you keep your voice down?" Naruto glared at the Chunin proctor. "You're interrupting me while I'm answering questions, got it?"

Naruto was furious, not because he had been interrupted while answering questions, but because this Chunin proctor had frightened Hinata. That was unforgivable.

The Chunin proctor threw the guy who had cheated five times out of the classroom, then turned back toward Naruto. His presence was no weaker than Naruto's as he smiled. "This is the first time I've encountered an examinee who dared to openly defy a Chunin proctor. Looks like you want to end the Chunin Ninja Exams early."

Sakura noticed the sudden incident and cursed Naruto in her heart. Damn it, Naruto, what are you doing? Why would you go out of your way to provoke a Chunin proctor?
