After they had eaten and drunk their fill, the sky had completely darkened.

Douluo Continent had no heavy industrial pollution. The sky was crystal clear, and the glittering Milky Way formed by countless stars was visible overhead.

Everyone turned their heads in unison, only to see a massive black shadow emerge from the depths of the pitch-black forest. The ground trembled with every step it took, shaking loose nearby leaves that rustled down and piled up in layers across the ground.

A huge mouth opened and bit down fiercely on the sika deer-like Soul Beast. Amid a series of hair-raising crunching sounds, the bright moonlight filtered down over the massive Soul Beast, fully exposing it to everyone's sight.

It was an enormous scorpion.

Its body was no smaller than the Man Faced Demon Spider Tang San had killed before. It was even somewhat larger.
