Every Infinity Gem possessed its own unique ability. Of all the gems, the Reality Stone possessed the power to rewrite reality.
In the Marvel films, the Reality Stone was red. It was the Aether Particle and existed in liquid form. In Thor: The Dark World, the frail Malekith turned his fortunes around after obtaining the Reality Stone and suddenly began thrashing Thor. Neither Thor's full-force strike, Bor—Thor's grandfather, who possessed the power of Odin—nor all of Asgard could destroy it. In fact, if its abilities were developed far enough, the Aether could potentially devour the Nine Realms in one fell swoop. A tiny fragment of the Aether could create a cursed warrior several times stronger than Thor, and when it attached itself to Jane Foster, it sent several Asgardian soldiers flying.
Of course, powerful though the Reality Stone was, its user would also suffer a backlash. The price might be their lifespan, or it might be something else.
The six gems embedded in the Infinity Gauntlet Yang Ming had obtained, including the Reality Stone, had greatly weakened abilities. At least, however, they posed no safety risks, allowing him to use them without concern.
Under the Reality Stone's reality-altering effect, concentric ripples spread across the stone wall before him, as though a pebble had been tossed into a still lake.
"Just as I thought!"
Seeing the scene before him, Yang Ming silently confirmed his suspicions.
He had already found it strange that their group had walked through the palace corridors of the Dragon God's Ruins for nearly half an hour without reaching the end. Even if the Dragon God's Ruins were a small world the Dragon God had created with a supreme soul skill as he fell, they could not possibly contain infinite space. The problem had to lie somewhere within.
