After leaving those words behind, he decisively activated the Instance Center's only button.
Dungeon.
In an instant, the two people in front of Coulson suddenly shattered into countless specks of light and vanished.
The bizarre sight left Coulson completely stunned.
He immediately notified headquarters. Before long, a cloaked Quinjet descended from the sky, unloading a large group of experts carrying all manner of equipment and heavily armed agents. They sealed off the entire rooftop, attempting to detect any traces left behind, while Coulson headed to headquarters with the crucial information.
Mysterious. Unfathomable.
What exactly was Chaldea? Why had they suddenly appeared, and what was their purpose?
Coulson had a feeling that his career as an agent might become increasingly difficult.
Shen He was not feeling much better either.
This damn system—the teleportation experience was far too awful. It felt like riding a roller coaster through more than ten consecutive 360-degree loops.
It was nothing like Saiki Kusuo's teleportation.
"So this is the Instance?"
Saiki Kusuo's voice sounded in his mind.
Forcibly suppressing his churning stomach, Shen He looked around.

Crossroads, branching paths, walls, neat passageways, ruined downward slopes...
"This looks like a real world." Shen He reached out and touched the wall.
There were even traces of moss on his fingertips, and the air was thick with the scent of dust.
Dungeon, Dungeon... could this be that world?
"Grrr."
A cute dog head suddenly appeared in front of Shen He.
Cute my ass!
Shen He jumped back in fright, but the monster with a dog head and a thin, goblin-like body lunged at him as well, its claws raised.
Pfft—!
Saiki Kusuo sent the monster flying with a kick.
After slamming into the wall, it exploded into black ash with a bang, and at the same time, a gentle current flowed into Shen He's body.
"No corpse left behind. This really is just a game, then."
Saiki Kusuo picked up a thumb-sized, glittering gemstone from where the monster had vanished.
"No." Shen He swallowed. "There's a world that works exactly like this. Besides, we're surrounded."
At some point, more and more identical monsters had begun pouring out from the surrounding walls, the ground, and even the ceiling, their growls echoing without end.
