Seizing the Helicarriers

Inside the three Helicarriers lay countless corpses, clearly S.H.I.E.L.D. employees killed by Hydra.

Hydra's original plan had been to eliminate everyone who was not Hydra after the Helicarriers took off.

But because of the attacks by Nick Fury and the others, they had no choice but to act early, clear out the interiors, and forcibly launch.

The moment they entered, Black Widow and Captain America came under fierce gunfire.

Bullets rained down, covering the entire entrance.

Black Widow had no choice but to hang outside the doorway to avoid the barrage.

Outside, the engine winds howled. One wrong move, and she would be sucked into the engine blades.

Even with Black Widow and Captain America's enhanced bodies, they absolutely could not withstand such terrifying mechanical crushing.

In The Avengers 1, when Iron Man repaired the Helicarrier's engine, he was sucked into the blades and could not get out.

Even wearing the Iron Man armor, he had nearly been crushed.

That showed just how strong the blades capable of supporting such enormous Helicarriers were.

Fortunately, Captain America pulled the brake lever at the last moment.

"Steve, lend me your shield."

Captain America did not understand and shouted through the raging wind, "What are you going to do?"

"Throw me inside!"

Black Widow took the shield, curled her supple body into a ball, and fit perfectly behind it.

Captain America understood at once and exerted force with both hands.

A dense series of metallic clangs rang out.

The shield flew into the Helicarrier through the rain of bullets.
