Knowing that Snakehead was a nobody and that Nick Fury had made a huge blunder, there were quite a few people aware of it.

Black Widow, the captain, Hill, not to mention Apocalypse, Iron Man, War Machine, and the rest.

But none of them belonged to Hydra.

To save Nick Fury's face, they naturally could not spread the story around and cause him trouble.

Thus, that enormous blunder became fact in the eyes of the outside world!

Especially since Apocalypse King had personally been at the scene. Who would dare question it?!

Pierce had fallen into the same blind spot.

Had it been any other incident, an old fox like Pierce would certainly have investigated it. He might even have uncovered something suspicious.

But the Battle of New York had only happened days ago, and Apocalypse King's prestige was simply too terrifying.

He had been at the scene then, and many soldiers had seen him from afar.
