Tang Wulin’s future self emerges after a catastrophic final battle that leaves the Shrek Seven Monsters scattered or dead and Gu Yue reduced to a remnant soul. Having endured years of warfare, loss, and regret, he resolves to use the fractures of time to reclaim the companions he failed to protect. When he encounters the younger Gu Yue within a temporal rift, he carries her through the ruins and promises that he has always been there. 1 2

Using the Golden Dragon Spear and the resonance between his Golden Dragon and Gu Yue’s Silver Dragon powers, Tang Wulin opens a stable rift into the past.
