History

After crossing a spacetime rift, Adult Tang Wulin arrives at a peaceful version of Shrek Academy rather than the ruined academy he remembers from the future. He sees it as the place where he and his companions once shared their happiest years and begins his effort to reunite the Shrek Seven Monsters there 3.

At the academy’s strength training grounds, Young Tang Wulin recruits Yuanen Yehui and Le Zhengyu, completing the original seven-member lineup. The seven then make their oath as the Shrek Seven Monsters beneath the intertwined auras of their martial souls 6.

The newly formed team establishes itself through Shrek’s first freshman team assessment, Hold the Line. They defend a signal device against four simulated fifty-year Berserk Flame Wolves for thirty minutes and earn a perfect score 8. Their subsequent defeat of hostile upper-year students publicly secures their reputation within the academy 9.

Adult Tang Wulin later becomes the group’s open guardian and mentor at Shrek. He refuses Seagod Pavilion’s summons, declaring that his only purpose is to protect the seven youths, then personally trains them for the Youth Tournament 12 14.
