The assessment details consisted of only one line: team survival battle, groups of six, simulated real battlefield, no restrictions on methods, endure for twelve hours.

The freshman dorms erupted that night. Xie Xie copied the notice back to the dorm and analyzed it for Wang Jinxi over and over. "Groups of six, no restrictions on methods, and we have to last twelve hours. How is this an assessment? They're sending freshmen in to wear each other down." Zhang Yangzi had already examined every word on the notice and even drawn a map. He said the assessment site would most likely be a simulated forest outside Shrek City, with complex terrain that might involve night battles and ambushes. For once, Wei Xiaofeng was not curled up in a corner. Instead, he went over to study the terrain map with them. Tang Wulin and Gu Yuena sat side by side on a bench in the dormitory common area. Tang Wulin traced possible tactics over his knee with his fingertips, while Gu Yuena silently refilled the water in the cup of soy milk by his hand.

When Lu Menge received the news, she was studying where to place the grill in her little courtyard.
