Background

Tang Wulin began as a six-year-old with only Level 3 soul power and Blue Silver Grass, a martial soul ridiculed at Red Mountain Academy. Although insecure about his prospects as a Soul Master, he found pride in forging after passing Teacher Mang Tian’s assessment. 3

Lu Menge identified the Golden Dragon King bloodline hidden within him and gave him a pale-gold bracelet that secretly tempered and stabilized it. She subsequently became his teacher and guardian at Eastsea Academy. 3 5

The Golden Dragon King’s divine core had been forced into Tang Wulin’s newborn body after Tang San killed the Golden Dragon King. Tang San created eighteen seals to prevent the core from destroying him while gradually converting its power into usable abilities. 23
