Background

Chen Qingling grew up with her father, Chen Shenge, in a thatched cottage within the Star Dou Great Forest. Her central goal after entering the outside world is to locate her missing mother; she initially believes her father to be a mysterious reclusive expert and resolves to become stronger, find her mother, and uncover his past. 6

At age twelve, her Martial Soul awakens unusually late, but she is confirmed to possess Innate Full Soul Power. She declines Spirit Hall recruitment and obtains certification to attend Notting Academy. 14

Chen Xin accepts her as a disciple after guiding her through the acquisition of her first Soul Ring. Gu Rong later becomes her second master after Qingling agrees on the condition that he help search for her mother. 3 6
